I ordered takeout through the Dennys.com website on 12/29/2021. I placed the order at 5:46PM and called the store at 5:50 PM to cancel the order. I spoke to a Lady, I believe her name was Claudia. As we spoke I heard her tell the kitchen not to make that order (in Spanish). She then advised me the order will be refunded to me. We ended the call. On 1/6/2022, I called again to ask for the refund. I waited 8 days because it was the holidays and I did not know if that would affect the banks. When I called on 1/6/2022, I spoke to the same woman, Claudia, who stated she wasn’t sure why the refund didn’t go through the first time but she would run it again. On 1/11/2022, I STILL had not received my refund. At this point, it was 2 weeks of waiting for a refund on food that was never made or received. I called the store again, this time I spoke to a Javier who was really nice and understanding but explained that only the store manager can process refunds. He explained he was unable to refund me my money but offered me food. I denied the food, and explained I had been waiting for the refund for 2 weeks. He provided me the phone number for the district manager and told me to try calling them to get the refund. I called the district manager, no answer. call went straight to voicemail that has not been set up. I chatted directly with Dennys headquarters about this situation. They took my info and stated they would relay it to the franchise and upper management, whom will reach out to me. They never reached out.
At this point, I firmly believe they have no intention of refunding me for my order that again, was NEVER made or picked up.

Javier doesn’t know about customer service and has a mediocre attitude, Ana above and beyond great customer service she went out of her way when I had a request in regards to my food. We don’t expect nothing for free we just wanted our food cooked the right way.
UPDATE: @Paola Rodriguez ma’am you were not present when the conflict was taking place! You arrived after the fact our server hesitated to fixing my food. Yes he offered to go boxes I didn’t NEED one or a to go cup! (He didn’t offer anything other than so I don’t know what you’re referring to!) Also, if you had been present you would’ve known a guy from corporate even came to us personally and apologized after our server was arguing with Leticia! We didn’t even know they worked for corporate but they saw the whole thing happen. SO Please don’t speak when you came in at the very end!!! Read moreHorrible experience!! My husband and I came here to try and get some food. As we pulled up, the night manager was outside smoking a cigarette. She went back inside when we pulled up and as we walked in, she preceded to tell us that we could not be served because they did not have a cook. As we got back in our vehicle, 2 cars pulled up and 2 individuals went inside. We assumed that one of those vehicles were the cook since those individuals were not turned around like we were. My husband went back inside the store inquiring what time they would have a cook and he was met by the same manager who previously turned us around. She stated that she had been at work since 4:00pm (mind you it was around 4:00am) and she would not serve us. She stated that a server would be there at 5:30am and we would not get service until then. We were quite perplexed on why she LIED at first and told us there was no cook, when in all reality, she just didn't want to serve us because she had been at work for 12 hours.
