Over all great experience for gujju food specially I will suggest gujarati unlimited thali if you are a gujarati and craving your gujju full thali meal like home style.. which is rarely available nowadays in restaurants.. great and home style tastes specially for khandwi, khichu, dhokla gujju kadhi ,gujju dal plus at request they also are very actively cooperative to make millet roti like Juvar roti.. etc things for to go ..which I greatly appreciate specially Bhavnaben and the manager Ms Rizu ,Anna takes great care of the customers..all staff is well trained to take great care of customers like family but only thing is that the evening staff I feel is not much aware of gujju items and millet items so sometimes when you call or order ..it’s hard to get the name of the gujju items and millet items which are only ones mainly I am looking for .. for healthy food options for like regular purposes. So I strongly miss someone who adores gujju food in evening team and someone who values healthy food options for health conscious customers ..because healthy food options are more in demand nowadays too as there is lot of awareness being spread all over specially about Indian traditional food and people are really conscious about it and are looking for such options too when they eat out.. also it becomes more feasible for working women when she gets such options when she plans for to go roti purchases or other snacks like makhanas.Other then that, spice level is almost like perfect .. not too much spicy or not too much chilli ..and that actually enhances the flavor of the main ingredients of the recipe itself by balancing out all in the recipe correctly..that’s the ideal way of cooking .. nothing over spicy or nothing under cooked(like something left half cooked, for example gobi).. must say all that credit goes to the cooks/chefs ..of keeping consistency about the ideal way of cooking.Again over all this is a great and lovely celebration of gujju food and culture 🎉🥳👍💃🕺🏼🎁wanted to add other new people Lahiri, Aakash and Saumya are very helpful and know how to take care for...
Read moreWorst restaurant I have ever been to in my entire stay of 10 years in the USA. I'd give 0 star but that's not an option sadly. Reviews are mostly fake ones with 5 star.
We ordered sabji and roti along with it. Rotis were a frozen rotis that you'd normally get from Indian grocery store (likely phulka fresh or a similar brand). They just put it on the stove for 10 seconds to call it a hot roti and gave it to us. There are reviews with badly cooked rotis. The ones I get weren't even that much cooked. Upon asking to replace them with puri the receptionist said it will take a lot of time and then receptionist offered to recook the one we alr got. The receptionist took rotis (multiple of them) and came back in 1 minute and again kept them in the same condition except to heat them a bit. This is the main issue, there were few others but not worth it to mention here cause an Indian restaurant can't cook roti ( the most basic item in Indian food) and that might be a deal breaker for many.
The Google reviews photos from the restaurant showed properly cooked rotis...
Read moreA very appealing vegetarian restaurant in Irving. A nice and open ambience gives you a good feeling to walk in and be seated.
No table service, so you order at the counter to pick up a butter and go back and pickup the food when your buzzer rings.
The Mirchi Bajji (aka Pakora) is good. It's tasty and just has the right kind of spicy 🔥 bite to them.
The Sprout Chaat is pretty bland not even a little hint of lime in it. We should have requested at least a medium spice one.
Alu Paratha is well made, a tad bit of spice would have made them the best. But we enjoyed them very much.
The sugar cane juice is good, but no lime 🍋🟩 in it. May be they ran out of lime 🍋🟩 for today? While it's freshly made, the price is rather expensive for the quantity that's given. A price of 4.99 would have been more...
