McDonald's — Restaurant in Jackson Township

I would like to give it a zero star review however google will not let me. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT come to this place. If you are just craving a burger and fries Wendy's is just across the street!

We walked in and saw who I presume was the manager yell out "Everyone make sure you wash your hands" Um, I have worked in the restaurant business off and on since I was 17 I'm pretty sure you are not suppose to say things like that in front of guest but maybe that's my personal thought.

First off when we arrived the self service machine wouldn't let us customize our order, now I'm not blaming this particular McDonalds on this issue but just wait.

We went to the counter and waited for 5 minutes to have someone come up to take our order. And then when someone did come up they had to get someone else to put our order in. Mind you there was 4 other people just standing around talking with one another just next to the ice cream machine 2 feet away from the order counter.

The big reason we wanted to go to McD in the first place was the delish sham rock shake. The unicorn of shakes that comes once a year to grace our lives and then runs away much like a unicorn. The people standing around the machine couldn't figure out what button to push so they said "We can't figure it out so we are just not going to sell them, just say we are out" Um...ok?

So here is what we ordered now keep this in mind when you read my post about what we actually got. I wanted a Big Mac the service man told me to get a double cheese burger because its basically the same. (Um costumer is always right is not a thing anymore?) I also got a large fry and a large drink. My husband got a double quarter pounder with cheese and ketchup ONLY a large fry and a large drink.

While we were ordering a lady arrived at the counter next to us and pointed at an employee and said "You get your "adult word" over here" Then this lady began to yell at this gentleman loudly right at the counter next to a costumer. The manager was standing at the exit door leaving and watching all of this go down. The manager did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except let this go on. (talk about interesting)

We had to get our cups because we weren't given cups. The ice machine was out of ice. The sweet tea was completely out. The tray underneath the ketchup dispenser was FILLED WITH TRASH! (Boxes I hope that was empty, straws and lids) They had no large and medium lids (I guess they were the trash?) Had to find a table that wasn't visibly soiled with trash and looked somewhat cleaned.

Our food arrived a few minutes later. While waiting we looked up the google reviews because there is no way that this is the norm. Its a newly built McD I guess this is the norm. I got a regular cheese burger with cold patties, with pickles that were completely hollow, (seriously hollow, it was a ring not even a real pickle) one small fry and my husband got a double quarter pounder but with a slice of extra, extra, extra crispy bacon. (At least we hope it was bacon) We ate our food quickly because we were hungry and I was just way over it. Went to take our trash out and where you leave the tray was trash bags not rolled up, just strung about like Christmas tinsel, and disinfectant spray.

While in the car one the way home my husband said his stomach wasn't feeling all that great. Also that this particular trip to McD was worse than the time when he was kid and choked on an ice cube.

Please get better management. I know that McD is not the fanciest place in the world but basic cleaning and costumer service is the key to a restaurant and returning costumers. But if your really craving McD I would suggest the one in Jackson Township by the High School they are always friendly and quick and correct with...

this mcdonald’s is close to me so this is the ONLY reason i have comtinued to come. my boyfriend works at the mcdonald’s on applegrove, owned by the same company and i love it, as i used to work there too, now, even though i live close to here i am never coming back in the morning. i am absolutely so disappointed. i typically love the one lady that’s in the window every morning, as she hands me napkins and a straw immediately with my drink everytime. now the big girl in back window is a different story. she needs help. she is so terribly ignorant and cares less to be at her job. if you don’t want to work at mcdonald’s then get off your lazy ass and get a real job. it’s embarrassing. she didn’t tell me to have a good day, instead she slams the window in my face and i gave her a dirty look and shook my head so of course she’s going to reopen it and say have a good day.. i got a good laugh from that one. the man in front of me was literally yelling at them too. if they says anything. but that’s besides the point, i go in to get a simple side of breakfast sauce and waited for at least 8 minutes as 4 employees walk past me. finally, the other manager lady i can’t stand comes up and talks to me like my teacher telling me that nexy time she will charge me for the sauce but since i’ve waited so long she won’t. sorry don’t make me wait then? i had no problem paying. anyways, the thing that set me off is i paid over $10 for my meal and i open my BACON EGG AND CHEESE bagel to a plain bagel. literally a dry hard bagel. i’ll put pictures, but seriously everhard? come on tomtreyco, consider your...

I like McDonald's but the only thing that I'm not happy about is they've changed to a kiosk and when you walk in you have to put your order on this kiosk that everybody else is touched and they don't wipe down after every use and then you pay with a card or you go to the register and an employee will take the cash now if I'm doing the ordering what is the employee doing that supposed to excuse me that used to take your order they're standing around playing on their phone until somebody pays with cash at the register now personally I think this world is getting too much Self Serve if I want to do it myself I get a job at McDonald's but I think they're taking away from the Personal Touch of serving the customer and if I'm doing ordering what does that employee do and I was told that if an employee takes your order like they used to they will get suspended for two weeks and that's not right I've worked in fast food we were always taught to serve the customer to do what the customer wanted drinks how they want their sandwich made beef you know nice smile Pleasant a kiosk is a board it's sterile you don't know what people have handled before they came they come in there to do their order they don't have sanitary wipes out for you to wipe your hands after you've touched that board and I know the hour or so that I was in it the McDonald's Belden Village in Canton Ohio they didn't wipe the kiosk down so I don't know I don't know if I feel this way but if all McDonald's start doing this I'll be going through the drive-thru...
