I am letting the world know of my experience at this Red Lobster so hopefully they do not have to deal with the rudeness and disrespect I did here on 8/20. I picked up my online order from the Belden Village location and took to my hotel. As soon as I opened my bag I noticed I was missing items I orders (crab mashed potatoes - $4.99, biscuits, had 2 shrimp) and I called in wanting a refund for the mashed potatoes I ordered. The lady who brought my order out to my car immediately said she admitted I was missing potatoes. I told her this whole order looked pretty terrible. She then proceeded to tell me that she already said she admitted I was missing potatoes and to quit complaining. She then proceeded to tell me I was being disrespectful to a lady and she was matching my negative energy back to me. I told her I was just calling to get a refund for the potatoes I didnt get.
At this point, I told her I wanted to speak to the manager. She said she would have to go look for them. I said that was fine. She told me she was going to put me on hold and hung up on me. This was all at 8:34pm. I called back at 8:38 after being hung up on. Once I got through their phone tree, I was immediately hung up on again. I tried again at 8:41 and same thing happened. I happen to have my company phone too, and tried calling with that one. I called at 8:41 on my other phone and spoke to someone else. Once I gave my name, they said they were going to put me on hold and hung up on me. I called back at 8:46. I connected with reservation line and got original lady that I spoke with. She acted like she couldnt hear and threatened to hang up. Then all of a sudden she could hear me. I told her I was done and I wanted to speak to manager. She told me to stop yelling. I told her I wasn't, but I can as my patience is gone. In order to talk to manager I had to kindly ask to "speak to manager, pretty please." I finally spoke to manager. I explained to him what I had gone through. He told me he was unaware. He said he would send me $5 e-gift card for missing potatoes and when I am in area, stop by for a free dessert.
This is not good enough. No one should have to go through what I went through or be treated like I did last night. It is completely unacceptable. Red Lobster's phone said calls are monitored for quality. I hope so. I want you to listen to them. I am attaching the receipts. Listen to your employee and their phone skills and how they talk to customers. All I wanted was my $4.99 refunded, not an e-gift card.

Read moreWhere to begin? Let me first say we have been happy and pretty frequent customers of the Canton Red Lobster for decades. We saw the $19.99 shrimp special on TV and decided to take my mother in law there for Mother's Day. When we went to order the special the waitress informed us the manager had decided that morning to take it off the menu. She told us they decided it would be too overwhelming for kitchen staff. Ok. It's soup or salad, a shrimp appetizer and shrimp entree. How is that anymore overwhelming than if we go ahead and order all those things individually instead of as the special they advertise everyday? Secondly, they put us in a back room that was so crammed full of people and tables that had been pushed together that nobody including the wait staff could move around the room comfortably. It was a fire hazard. It was so bad we heard a waiter say I can't work like this because he couldn't get to his table. Third, our food comes nearly one hour after we got there and the sides on all our plates at the table were cold. We didn't dare send them back because we had already waited an hour to eat. We were ready to go tbh. I am not saying you shouldn't go here ever but maybe eat somewhere else if it's a holiday. We also had a terrible experience on Valentines Day. When we got there they seated us in the far back of the restaurant...we have never been back there and probably will never want to again...it was like the lost part of the restaurant...the waitress was very polite and quick at first...we asked about the special $5.00 app. And she was very helpful...so we ordered 2 different ones.. Then placed our order ...it was the Friday $15.00 coconut shrimp .....we only got water to drink and the meal was very good and was out fast...then it all went down hill finally she came back to see if we needed anything...we asked for boxes and the ck. I looked at the bill and was charged full price for the appetizers and full price for the dinners ...and we were there before 6 PM. The waitress came back and I showed her she said give me a minute .....she was gone for at least 15 minutes and we were way ready to leave .finally came back and said so sorry I fixed it and took your 2 gc of $50.00 dollars off and your balance is a dollar and 18 cents..
