Food was great! When we walked in it was obvious that the employees were having an off day (having worked in the food industry I totally understand). They were complaining very loudly about a costumer who had complained about the price of his food and then the proceeded to talk about how the would just fight him if he came in and complained again. Then when it came time for my order I told the lady that I wanted a veggie. She didn’t understand me (which is totally understandable I can admit - I did mumble a bit) and instead of politely asking she said “What”. So I repeated my order louder than I had. They were making multiple orders at the same time and had multiple people at the counter preparing orders. The one lady who took my order was slicing meat for all of them. I was looking and saw that my sandwich wasn’t on the table and I thought that the just hadn’t gotten to it yet because it looked like a large order had been placed before mine. When it came time for my sandwich they grabbed one (which wasn’t what I ordered) and asked me what I wanted on it. When I told them that it wasn’t my order - they gave me an attitude about having to do it again. Had I had known that was my sandwich instead of it being mixed in with the other order at first, I would’ve let them know before it got too far along. When the original lady who took my order came back up she saw that a different sandwich had been made and she asked why it wasn’t being made. When she was told it was the wrong sandwich at first she glared at me HARD. 10/10 for the food but service was...
Read moreI'd never been to a Jersey Mike's before, so I really didn't know what to expect. The menu isnt super detailed about what the sandwiches have so when they brought me a philly cheesesteak with chicken, I thought maybe making them with chicken is like a special company quirk. Again, no frame of reference. I started eating it because I was starving, my car had just broke down as well. About 3 bites into the sandwich, they realize they've given me the wrong sandwich. I've worked in food service and when you give someone the wrong meal, you're supposed to replace it with the correct food and apologize. The staff just sat there glaring at me and talking behind the counter. My kid noticed before I did and asked why the guy behind the counter kept pointing at us. I realized what had happened and tried to see if I could get them to fix the mistake. They replaced the sandwich for the person who's sandwich I'd mistakenly received and ignored me when I tried to ask for help. It was so embarrassing and and made us feel so humiliated. As we were leaving, we could hear a staff member explaining to a customer that I'd taken someone else's food, like I had actively stolen it or something. I've never felt so horrible from a dining experience before in my life. My family and I will not ever be going back to this...

After a long drive/night, I needed to get some food, so I was hoping to use some Jersey Mike point to redeem a free sandwich. However, the nearest one to me at the time was in Jackson, TN. I end up getting there within 15 minutes of closing and immediately expressed that I felt bad coming in that close to closing. However when asked if I could still get a sandwich or if they still had food, I was met with an answer that put the blame almost like it was on me for coming in when I did.
Their customer service made it feel like I was in the wrong for going into a restaurant at 8:45pm, when their posted closing hours are 9:00pm. My point here is that if one is going to publicly list their closing hours, they should not close their main service (which is providing food) before. Or, at least, be nice about it (like offer the option of getting a bag of chips), because it is a customer service industry and positive/negative interactions matter.
TLDR: Be nice and respect listed hours and you wont get a hangry...
