I've eaten A LOT of subs in my 53 years, we recently located to Jackson, TN from Nashville, TN, this is our first experience with your shop. I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where there was, and still is, a shop that is owned by an Italian family; Merritt Park Sub Shop, and they make some of the best subs, pizzas, pasta you'd ever want to eat, and this is what I was raised on... so I know what some foods are supposed to taste like... "authentic" foods. This Restaurant; "MARCOS PIZZA" IS THE CALIBER OF THE PLACE IN MY HOME TOWN OF, BALTIMORE, MD., Dundalk to be exact. I am exceptionally particular in my selection for my plate, and what I put in my mouth! I'll try any "good" food once... but this place, MOMMA-MIA, IT'S SERIOUSLY GOOD! AND TOTALLY UNEXPECTED (to be this good!) I am also deeply reserved in giving reviews, because people are so diverse in their desires, likes, and dislikes. So, me telling another I think this place is great may or may not mean anything to you... BUT because of the quality of the food, and the obvious attention to detail and care that is evident in their preparation of their food, I am compelled to give praise where praise is honestly due! Your business reminds me of the old days, when people still cared about what another thought of their product, and wanted to do the best they could, simply because they had pride in doing what they do, "well!" Folks, these people deserve your business, they care about the customer's opinion and it's obvious they want you repeat business by serving their food with quality ingredients, and particular attention to detail! NOTE: I requested very specific items of certain ingredients, and requested particular method of preparation, and not only did they get the ingredients right, they made it exactly as per order! I am a fair man, and I don't ask for things that are unreasonable, but I do expect to have what I purchase to be, as per my liking, and Marcos does this with absolute perfection, in my humble opinion! Thank you Marcos Pizza for being a business that cares, by the high quality ingredients you use, your attention to detail, the way you prepare your food, and your ability to present to your customers exactly what they ordered! I had never had this brand before until she had came up to visit me in Ohio! I was ecstatic to be able to try it again and I was not disappointed! Kyra and the whole staff truly helped make the experience all the more enjoyable and didn't make me feel awkward for having to wait at a table the whole time, doing something to keep myself occupied, until Kyra's shift was over.
They have wonderful customer service attitudes and are always super friendly and ready to help! It's wonderful hearing them greet and say goodbye to everyone that walks in and out those doors, even their delivery drivers! Plus, their relationship with one another is admirable and makes me wish I had that kind of bond with my coworkers at Subway back home! They feel like a family!
Anyway, I've gotten food here everytime I came in with Kyra and it was just heavenly! The pizza, calzones and subs (also the garlic butter, my fave dipping sauce) are so delicious and I can't thank Kyra enough for making my order perfectly everytime! Read morefor the second time ... I ordered curbside service only to watch the delivery driver walk in the building and walk out without bringing me my food. I removed the tip because they didn't deserve it. If my mom wasn't the one wanting the food i would have asked for all of my money back. I have never experienced such intentional manipulative bullying of a customer in my life. I called and they said let me find a driver to bring you youre pizza. then watched them hand the driver 6 other pizzas and let them walk right out the door instead of bringing me my curbside. this has happened twice where they force me to come inside the building to get my pizza. I won't be ordering pizza from this restaurant again. unprofessional service twice in a row = no more ordering from them. I wasn't even offered a discount for the extra 15 minutes they made me wait for the cold pizza i had to warm it up 7 minutes later when i got home. Don't put curbside service if you are not going to expect your employees to honor the agreement. How are you the corporate leadership going to respond to this? the management of the hour did not even offer an apology or anything. Is this what Marcos represents as a company?
