Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Jacksonville Beach

I have never reviewed a place but this deserves a bad review because it is the worst tropical Smoothie I've ever been to. This place used to be good but has gone way down hill and I will never go again. I went in with my 3 year old daughter and as I opened the door I could hear the employees fighting with each other in the back. I waited a couple of minutes for someone to take my order and ordered two smoothies and a kids quesadilla for my daughter with chicken, which I paid extra for. After 15 minutes they brought out the quesadilla which was soggy and greasy and of course had no chicken on it. I walked up to the girl I ordered the food from and said there was no chicken on it and asked if she could fix it. After her looking at me like it was my problem she reluctantly took it back. I waited another 20 minutes and the girl walked in and out from the back multiple times not saying anything and I finally had enough and told them to forget the order and walked out because it wasn't worth the money I paid for the food to sit there any longer for the crappy food they may or may not have ever brought out. Horrible experience. I just left there and am so mad I'm shaking. First, my order was wrong and so were both of my childrens but also the lady working the register couldn't do simple math. I had a local flavor coupon that should have deducted $20 from the total. Somehow she kept telling me the register took off the discount even though it was nowhere on the receipt and saying we still owed $16. So in other words, my order that should've only cost me $4 out of pocket was now $16. When I confronted her about it she started arguing with me. Finally she just said that the register was ringing the order up right and I was wrong. I walked back up to her, pulled out the calculator on my phone and went one by one adding up everything I bought. What do you know, I was right and she didn't take it off. Any middle schooler could've done that math and figured it out. We didn't have a big order. She was so rude. I'm from Columbia, SC and I'm currently staying in JAX beach while my husband gets radiation treatment downtown. He LOVES him some Tropical Smoothie so we always look for one basically anywhere we go. We went the other day for smoothies and they were ok. But we went back again for a second try. Worse. Poor service. Every other Tropical Smoothie we go to they bring your smoothies out to you after calling your name but here they just call your name and leave it on the counter for you. Our smoothies were chunkie and watery. No flavor. It took a while to get them and there were 3 people behind us who all got their orders before us. The person who said in their review it smelled like lunch meat...I couldn't tell you if that was it but the smell wasn't good like a restaurant should be. Lastly we got home (again got it to go) to find a soggie sadly stuffed wrap. Needless to say we literally threw it all out and had to go back out to find something else.
