Arby's — Restaurant in Jacksonville

What a letdown. This is not our usual location but we were at the mall so we decided to cross the road. This was for a Friday lunch just before noon. It started out OK. The one customer in front of us was finishing up and we were the only people inside; the drive through looked like it had maybe three vehicles. Our cashier was obviously a rookie. — she even said it was her first day. — and was being helped by an experienced person. She slowly took our order, which was fine since we weren’t in a hurry and she was willing to listen and learn from the veteran. Then the manager “A” horned in and ordered the veteran to help the line. The manager then started screwing up our order and we had to keep correcting her; mind you, before she barged in we were almost done and were being rung in correctly. The drink station was wet because the spigots were not screwed on tightly. Our order came out. The fries were slack filled but since they seemed old we didn’t particularly want a bunch of mealy cold fries anyway. Worse, though, the chicken bacon swiss had a patty not a filet. It was drenched in honey mustard. There was no produce. I took it back and they actually said “he wanted lettuce tomato onion on it?” I had no alterations in my sandwich order so the line person was evidently a new person as well. She also said that was the only chicken they have. The roast beef classic in our order was fine. The dining room was fine. From what I surmised they had two new people, an experienced person, and the manager for a Friday lunch in a busy area. I don’t know if the manager was unhappy she had to do front line work or if she just has customer service attitude problems in general. In the future we will get Arby’s from our usual location. This manager needs a procedure refresher and a customer service refresher. She needs to learn that you serve...

We visited Arby's tonight for an easy dinner since I currently have a broken knee, and cooking is difficult right now. We got the 4 for $10 Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches, and I noticed on the menu that they had a Chicken Salad Sandwich that was on a hearty bread and had apples, grapes and Romain lettuce. It looked so good that we added one to our order. We also got the 3 piece Chicken Tender meal.

The Roast Beef sandwiches had a very generous amount of Roast Beef on each sandwich and were delicious.

The Chicken Salad sandwich was also delicious but was very light on the amount of chicken salad that was on the sandwich. However, I enjoyed it and would order it again.

We also purchased the Chicken Tender so we could give each of our Chihuahuas that came along for the ride 1/2 of 1 Chicken Tender each. Even though they tasted good, they were on the small side. I probably will not order them again.

And of course, you can't go to Arby's without getting a Jamocha shake. They never disappoint, I look forward to one each time we go to Arby's.

The total bill caught me off guard, though, especially since the Roast Beef sandwiches were on sale. When the person who assisted us with our order said, "Our total was $37.68," I asked my husband if I had heard her right. That seemed a little on the pricey side, but the food was delicious, so we will be visiting again because we do enjoy...

I have had nothing but problems at this Arby's. Phillips Hwy in Jacksonville by the Avenues Mall. I expect it will be closed down soon unless they get a new manager and staff. I went through the drive through on Dec 1, 2023 and the first thing the lady at the speaker says is we are OUT OF ROAST BEEF. How in the heck does that happen? What kinds of a manager runs this place to allow them to run out of the main thing they sell? Anyway, I asked if the brisket was available and i was told yes. I ordered the Brisket sandwich and instead of fries got cheese sticks. The time I spent in line was way longer than it should have taken. There were only a few cars in front of me and it took almost 15 minutes to get my food from the time I got in line. Then when I get my sandwich, it is horrible. They literally put 1 or 2 slices of brisket on the bun and charged me almost $14 for the combo. I have had this sandwich before and I know what it is supposed to be like and this was not it. Like I said before, I have had problems before with my order being messed. When I try to call and complain, they just do not answer the phone. I am done with this location. They suck, the employees there suck the service sucks. Stay away. Go...
