I enjoy this location but I am giving it a 1 star because of my last experience. Since I work downtown, it is very convenient for me and as you can imagine, I go there quite frequently. I had a little stent where I did not go out for lunch but recently a co-worker came back with a to-go order, and it was lovely. The avocados were sliced and fresh… The overall presentation was just wonderful. Of course, I insisted on getting the same exact bowl as her the following day. Well here is where my favorite store will never receive my business again. I got the poke bowl to-go and I was literally the first person that day because I walked in as they opened. With that said, I paid for my bowl that I ordered online and I continued out the door back to work. Upon examining my bowl, I realized that the avocado portion was old and no, I do not mean a little brown because I am quite aware that they brown easily after cutting them but completely brown/black. Can I reiterate that I was the first person to grab a bowl that day! Everything is usually fresh and I was not that mad but I felt the need to call them because they gave me mashed avocados and compared to the bowl before, I was so disappointed. It was almost like they tried to hide it under some seaweed salad to and that made it even more disappointing. I called and spoke to the manager, who in a roundabout way told me I was a liar about my friends bowl the day before because they do not do sliced avos. Then after I told him that wasn’t the issue, and that the issue is the fact that the avos are literally overnight old and disgusting. His exact response, “I don’t know what you want from me”. Well Mr. Manager, all I wanted was an apology and assurance that this would never happen again but now I want my money back. That was two days ago, I still have not received my...
Read moreI wish this app allowed you to rate with zero stars as the 1* it requires is too kind for the horrible customer service at this location- firstly if your going to work in the US learn English or at least ensure the people you want to talk crap about in another language CANT HEAR YOU AND DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR SAYING. We ordered over $40 worth of food and sat waiting for our food to be handed an order that wasn't ours my husband asked not once not twice but 3 times if that was our food only to be motioned to that it was and told yes yes take it yes that is yours... Next thing we know the cashier is having a melt down over US TAKING THE WRONG ORDER THAT SHE STATED WAS OUR ORDER - looks like this employee needs to get her crap together HOW HARD IS IT TO WORK IN FAST FOOD?!! I know it's a busy environment but maybe try remembering the order that was placed i mean how difficult is it you only had 3 customers in the entire place? Also they ask for a tip for every single purchase why in the world would I tip some one who is so rude and lacks basic common sense let alone people skills or English like come on- my husband is not from the US so before you get all don't be racist on me think again he came here has paid his dues and speaks ENGLISH why don't you try it on for size! The food was ridiculous as well $42 for cardboard BS that I can make at home get real last time we come here! Plan food no flavor shitty service horrible customer service and cashiers that talk crap about their customers who are sitting right in front of them that's pretty rude considering most don't understand what your saying- yea go for it have fun wish...
Read moreI believe honest and transparent communication helps us build a better community. I’m a Door Dasher and I provide service to customers around our city. Usually establishments are kind and welcoming- so much so that I end up becoming a regular myself.
However, this restaurant doesn’t reflect these values. I entered the building and noticed a manager or cashier standing behind the desk. I showed him the order. And I hit the “confirm” button because- that’s how I move on to get paid. The manager/cashier yelled at me to “Hit the Confirm” button- twice- even after I already had. I even showed him my screen.
This is a rude practice.
It insinuates that we, Dashers, are stealing. Funny thing is that if he had been following along on the app- he would have seen that I had confirmed the order already. It’s a shame- really. When he saw that he was in error, he didn’t apologize or anything. He treated me like I was a person undeserving of respect. Ironic- because if businesses were disconnected from Door Dash, I believe their bottom line would show the opposite. Let’s honor businesses who are kind to your delivery people. If for no other reason, the delivery people handle your food.
Thanks...
