This was my first time visiting Noodles & Co. It has the POTENTIAL to be a good place, but unfortunately that WAS NOT my experience on this occasion. I ordered via the app for me and 2 friends. When I arrived to pick up our order, I was told they were out of chicken. (We all ordered chicken dishes... which was already paid for.) They offered to substitute another protein, but the dishes were already made so the proteins were just given in to-go containers. The proteins had to be cooked, so the pasta dishes just sat on the counter for another 15 minutes getting cold. I watched this scenario happen over and over while I waited. No one apologized or offered anything (drink while you wait?) for the inconvenience, delay, etc. A simple "sorry about that" would have made a big difference.
Finally, getting our order, we got home only to find they had forgotten the cookies. (I watched 2 people, including the Mgr check the order and they were busy so we didn't take time to unpack and repack the order at the store.) Maybe not a big deal, but the 3 missing cookies cost over $8... Now I have to call and try to get a refund. I also witnessed another customer come back for missing items. As anticipated, the food was cold. Pasta reheats fine, and the dishes tasted good. I'm willing to give them one more chance in the future, but their mgt needs to get their act together. Was really looking forward to eating here, so it was very...
Read moreNoodles has healthy food that tastes wonderful and is a good value. The menu is so varied with so many good choices, and customizations, and they meet some dietary restrictions. They have zucchini noodles to replace pasta, if you need to reduce carbs. I think they have lower sodium and fat choices for heart health, and they may still have cauliflower pasta. Ordering online works pretty well, even with all of the customizations I require, but navigation can be difficult. Our favorites are Pesto Cavatappi, Roasted Garlic Cream Tortelloni, Penne Rosa, all 3 with Parmesan Crusted chicken, and Japanese Pan Noodles with steak. I would like more veggies without having to pay several dollars more. I usually make 2 meals out of what I order, so I eat most of the veggies with the first half and add my own veggies for the leftovers. Good food. I wish I could get some of my favorite dishes that I had several years ago. Their marinara sauce is excellent for those like me who like a sweet marinara. I wish I could buy a jar of it in the grocery store. I would get food there every week if I didn't live...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting Noodles & Co. It has the POTENTIAL to be a good place, but unfortunately that WAS NOT my experience on this occasion. The marketing is great, but the food is not. My wife's dish, orange zucchini chicken something. Her only complaint was just a tad too salty. My dish was Japanese Pan noodles with steak. That was my first time eating GUMMY lo mein noodles since that was the noodles used. The steak was CHEWY. No spice flavor (there was a pepper next to spicy dishes on the menu). To me lo mei. noodles is Chinese not Japanese but I could be wrong. My wife tried mine and she agreed with my concerns about my dish. We both agreed not to try again. For $26 I would have paid more for better quality.
With PF CHANGS down the street, an asain food restaurant will need to step up their game. Why would a possible repeat customer want to come back here after a bad experience with food quality and cleanliness? It would be better to pay more for PF Changs because of good food and...
