Okay this review really is going to shock you guys because it shocked me. When I was growing up in the 80s and '90s Chick-fil-A was considered the premium fast food. They were always on point, delicious chicken that was moist, the perfect amount of pickle flavor on a buttery roll. The one thing that always used to get me was every Sunday I would get a craving for Chick-fil-A and of course they were always closed. Totally get it and understand it and agree with it people should have a day off a week to be able to worship or be with their families and loved ones. I digress now to almost 40 years later in which now there's many Chick-fil-A's. You no longer have to freak when I'm all just to find one. You actually can drive through the drive-thru at our current ones. The only thing I've noticed that is a criticism constructive as it may be is that it really depends on the location that you order from. There are some Chick-fil-A's that take me right back to my childhood but then there's the one like the other night and the Town center. Don't get me wrong the employees were great. They had a positive attitude or very helpful and kind. They had quite a crowd of people and of course it looked very nice and kept up. However my food was fine and I enjoyed it. I'm going to check this up to just being a coincidence but my wife's stomach after we ate there literally like blew up. I was shocked. It was more like a McDonald's experience if you know what I mean. And I love McDonald's too but God love them and Taco Bell you eat there you know you're going to have to be near a bathroom. Chick-fil-A though has never had that issue before. We trusted it and felt safe enough to stop and eat first before shopping. I'm sure you all can see where this is going. Because when she was trying to finish her food she said my stomach feels upset. I said when are we going home but she said no no it'll pass because after all it was Chick-fil-A. So we went to the town center and went to Ross and we won our separate paths to do our shopping. About an hour into it I was looking around for her and I hear her calling me from over near the bathroom. Well apparently we should have gone straight home. Let's just say that was her fourth time being in the bathroom and she didn't quite even make it there poor thing. So I had to go buy her a new pair of pants and then we came on home. Not sure what was up with Chick-fil-A that night because I've never quite had that experience before ever at any one of them. My stomach was a little upset but thankfully mine didn't get to that level. So not so sure about going to Chick-fil-A for a little while because kind of made me a little sick to my stomach the whole process but. I'll let you all know the next time I do go and if it's any better. Everybody...
Read moreI just visited the location at the St. John’s Town Center. I am not only a patron of this location but also a Town Center employee of over 15 years. I ordered breakfast on the mobile app and then proceeded to walk ACROSS the street. I hit the “I’m here” button as I entered. It was 10:31am and a message popped up saying that breakfast had ended and I my order was cancelled. Keep in mind I work across the street. I know what time breakfast ends which is why I ordered (on the mobile app) and paid well before 10:30.
Since I was already at the door I went ahead and explained to Chelsea (manager) what was going on. She barely looked at me and then said sternly that breakfast was over and there was nothing she could do. She didn’t even ask me what I ordered, to see if she could accommodate me. One of the items was an order of waffle fries which were on being served at the time. She was stoic and short with me unnecessarily. Certainly not what I’m used to from chic-fil-a employees. Chelsea was so short with me that it was only 10:34am by the time I walked back across the street.
It’s all kind of ironic because surrounding Town Center businesses are negatively impacted by their traffic on a daily basis. Their customers constantly block traffic and make it nearly impossible to conveniently access some businesses. They also park in spaces designated for other businesses, blocking spaces for store patrons. In addition to that many dispose of Chic-Fil-A food trash and waste in the parking lot of surrounding establishments. My team and myself have picked up their patrons litter on numerous occasion. I hope Chelsea and her team are coming up with solutions to these other more pressing issues since they couldn’t figure out how to serve me a biscuit and an order of...
Read moreI normally spend on average $50 for myself and my kids. We frequent this location on Saturdays. Lately, the customer service skills of the employees at this location has been going down. Poor service and consideration is my issue with this location. I was advised to wait at #1 for my large order, which is no problem, however once I get my food I have to check to make sure it's right. I normally ask the employee to wait politely while I check. This time not only did the employee roll their eyes they actually sighed and threw their head back like they were completely annoyed. I was very upset by this because hey I'm the one waiting for my food and I need to make sure all the condiments I requested is there and of course it wasn't. There was barely any napkins or sauce. I asked the employee to get additional napkins and sauce and the employee rolled there eyes again and walked off. Once I got all my food and condiments I advised the employee this was very poor customer service on her part and that she rolled her eyes at me not once, but twice. To which she denied, which probably means she is not aware that she is doing that, but throwing the head back and sighing at a customer for asking for additional condiments I'm sure she was aware of that. My kids were in the car and they were like mommy why she rolled her eyes at you. I told them that sometimes people do that and they are not aware of their own body language. Employees are trained to display good customer service and to be patient with customers. However, this employee must've missed the class and I most certainly let her know that because what she did was not acceptable. It's not accepted for any position in customer service. I advised my kids that unfortunately we will not be coming back to this...
