This morning I was met with extreme rudeness by one of your employees on an already stressful day of having to bury my father. First after waiting sometime to order and get to the window (slow service), we waited a bit before payment was taken, female at the window made a comment about drama prior to taking my payment but I paid no mind. Here comes MYLES. Both of these employees we were chatting and a 3rd employee turned around and asked if they would not talk about other employees while they were at work. All this is happening I was still waiting on a bakery item. After quite a bit more time, I noticed MYLES had my bakery item in his hands and was still chatting away.
I finally asked him if he would please give me my item as I was trying to get to my fathers funeral service.
He had the audacity to turn to me, holding the muffin closer to him and say “Don’t rush me.” as if his gossip session was more important than customer service. Even after him making his rude comment he still would not give me my item. I’m lost it at this point and yelled at him while he kept say by not to rush him. Finally got the bakery item but it has been left it uneaten.
If gossip, drama, slow and ultimately rude service is how this particular store wants to handle business then it doesn’t deserve to stay open. Never have I experienced callousness as I did today. MYLES even encouraged me to report him and I intend to post this on every forum I can to show just how rude this particular establishment is towards customers.
All I wanted was something to drink and eat to calm my nerves and ended up more stressed than want I needed to be on a day...
Read moreI walked into this location and couple of weeks ago getting ready to place my order. I heard an older gentleman in the drive thru yell some poor choice of words. I immediately knew he spilled coffee on himself. I looked up and the girl at the window never asked him if he was ok. She turned to her coworker and said it wasn't my fault.
I sprung into action and said to he is he ok, ask him if he's OK...give some napkins. I told the girls give some napkins quick. I immediately ran outside side and assisted the gentleman. I asked him what his order and to pull around to the parking lot, I would go get his order. I see the girl his cup to the brim, I told her to pour some of the coffee out and give me a pup cup for the gentleman furbaby. One the girls gave me some burn cream for him as well.
I gave the guy his coffee and burn cream. I told him to relax and wait awhile before driving, and to give his dog his pup cup. He asked if I worked there and I told him no. I'm just a concerned citizen. The gentleman said I don't blame her. While this too place the shift supervisor NEVER went out to ask the gentleman if he was alright. I even talked to the shift supervisor...still no concern for the gentleman.
Well this was my last time visiting this location. I learned a valuable lesson during this entire incident...no sympathy, empathy, compassion, and well being for others. I was definitely shakened up by this. Today I got my iced coffee...
Read moreThe starbucks at River City Marketplace is the worst Starbucks experience... it was super slow and my drink was wrong and I was over charged... I was stuck in the drive through for almost 20 minutes after placing my order. They tried to give my drink to the car in front of me and it was already in their car for a few minutes before the person gave it back because it was the wrong order. When I got to the window they tried to give me the wrong drink and charged me for the wrong drink which was more expensive. Then when I told them it was the wrong drink they handed me my correct drink that had already been given to the car in front of me and its ice was already half melted. I was already tired of waiting so I just took my drink and left. I didn't want to spend another 10 minutes waiting to speak to a manager inside after already waiting 20 minutes to get my drink. After driving off and sipping the drink, I realized they made it completely wrong, it was nasty, and the coffee tasted extra burnt today. All it was supposed to be was a venti iced coffee with cream and sugar... its not even one of the more complicated drinks. I don't know what the hold up was because I could see in the window and they had atleast 6 baristas working. I never had this problem at the Starbucks near my house. I was always served my drink within minutes of ordering from the drive through box. I will probably not go back to that particular...
