I would give this establishment a 3.9 barely a four. The atmosphere isn’t as inviting and while I’m not sure if it’s the decor or therefore lack of but puts you in a lazy or darker mode. Being said, that did not take away from that fact that the service provided was very nice. The cooks or manager offered me a service free of charge and was very kind to slice up the pizza in extra pieces for the children in our group. The price for one slice of pizza is 4.25-4.75 however for what you get, it is worth it in my opinion. The cashier doesn’t offer any smiles upon entry and forgets to ask whether the meal is to go or to stay. The establishment is hidden and easily forgot about as it’s right at the entrance of the mall . I would suggest more coloring to catch people’s interest.

I ordered takeout via Grubhub: Cheese slice Chicken salad /w Caesar Dressing Tiramisu Sweet tea Cheese slice and Chicken Salad were fantastic, no complaints. The olives and banana peppers were a little surprising in the salad but worked really well. The ONLY reason they lose 2 stars is because their “Tiramisu” was terrible. I put it in quotes because it was literally a layered yellow cake with cream. Tasted nothing like a tiramisu. No ladyfingers. No coffee flavor at all. Just a glorified yellow cake with cream. For $4.25 a slice, that’s a ripoff especially since it’s not even what it claims to be. Honestly was a great meal overall before I opened dessert. Not sure if that’s the norm at this location, but for the sake of Italians everywhere at least rename it.

Now in 44 years of eating at Tony's I have never seen the quality of food as it is now. Still one of the better slices in town...and a local fixture, but the buffalo wings I just purchased simply don't represent the iconic Tony's brand...Do better fry cook.... In my younger days I wouldn't have paid for this meal... Reprimand

Having worked in the restaurant business for several years when I was younger I have an opinion to register with the managers, owners, and upper echelon of Tonys Pizza. First and foremost, that was the best slice of NY style pizza I have had the pleasure of eating in some time.

However, what is the ideologies and reasoning for stop making and baking pizzas 30 min prior to closing? My Wife and I came in for 2 slices of Pizza as well as a stromboli. But because we came into the restaurant at 730 pm all that was available was a whole large pepperoni and 3 slices of cheese. As I said the pizza was delicious, abd delicious enough for us to want 2 slices per, but we did not even have the option due to no slices available and no options for a chef to make us what we wanted.

While eating inside the restaurant we observed 2 seperate couples come in to order food again 735 0740, and decided to leave due to no options being available.

Money was lost tonight, revenue was lost tonight, because someone made the decision to stop satisfying the customers choice to be served what they wanted to order.

If the door is open, the menu...

I have been coming to Tony's Pizza since 1998. The food is great, but today me and family had a bad experience, because of the cashier. We ordered drinks and food, over $80.00. Situation number 1- When we asked her if there were refills, she replied "yes". That was a LIE. After, my kids asked for the refills, she was trying to charge them $0.75 for the refills. $0.75 is not even hard to pay, its how she went about the whole situation. Situation number 2- We also ordered 2 orders of wings and ask for them (crispy) not burnt. They were given to us burnt, I return them to the front deck where the manger on duty was. I told him the situation. He didn't even offer to exchange them. We waited and when we asked for the wings, the cashier got loud and was rude to us. The manger just stood by and let the cashier yell and be rude. Manger did return my money, but lost a customer. Tony's Pizza staff has changed. Use to be nice. Not all the staff is like her. Feel bad and won't go back. I recommend to be up front on prices with the customers. Mangers need to be able to step in asap...

This location in Jacksonville NC Mall. The customer service is very poor towards certain customers. This location should be monitored based on customer service. Not ever customer is getting equal customer service! Also if this establishment is suppose to be open and close at a certain time. There should be no reason why a paying customer is being told 3 pieces of stale dry pizza that has been sitting out for long periods of time; is all that the will be making and severing at 8:38pm before they are closing. This last minute decision on rather or not the employees want to fully complete a full work day of customer service and preparing orders should not be based on their feels; but yet their job in completing orders until the restaurant is completely closed for the day. Sadly my experience was different and did not get to order off the menu because I was getting yelled at across the restaurant before I could get to the register to make my order. The two staff members was rude and I’m sure this is not their first time being like this towards...
