Today is National Eat Outside Day so my wife and I wanted to find a healthy eatery with an outside patio. I knew things were headed downhill when we walked inside to find 3 ladies at the counter talking. One walked away when we entered but the other 2 continued to carry on talking without greeting us. We were finally greeted by a polite young lady sweeping the dining room. Eventually my wife headed to the kiosk to order. I said, I was willing to wait until the cashier's were done talking but wife responded quietly, " It's best to order at the Kiosk because they always mess up our order at this location anyway!" So we ordered and when it asked for a buzzer/table tracker we went to grab one and the sweeping employee told us, " don't bother, those are all broken! Just make up a random number." So we put "1" and went outside to the patio. There was only one other table with 2 ladies finishing their dinner so we didn't think there would be any confusion. About 15 minutes later the same sweeping Panera employee came outside to the patio to tell us our order was ready at the counter!!!! So we go back inside to get our order. After sitting down, guess what? Yep, both my wife's and daughter's order was wrong. 2 out of 3 items were wrong!!! :(. My wife took the food and ticket back to the counter!
After dinner my wife carried her dishes back inside only to be told to take them back outside where the trash and dish bin were upside down! Usually when we see something covering the trash opening we think it's not in operation but the staff said to turn it all over and put our trash there! Seriously! Be helpful or learn some customer service skills instead of standing around talking all evening! So sad that these are the same group that demand $15 an hour? Please don't misunderstand, on Friday night my wife and I tipped over 40 percent for outstanding finner service, so we like to think we aren't cheap. Good servers make way more than $15 an hour... We weren't expecting 5 star service from a counter service restaurant but we didn't expect this dismal treatment.
While I'm on a roll... The outside was horribly maintained. It stopped raining many hours before yet the covered patio was soaked. We had to wipe off our own table and chairs. As we were leaving another gentleman had to do the same. Pictures attached show that clearly the outside needed some TLC and hasn't been maintained, cleaned or pressure washed in a while! Half the outdoor fans were broken...
Maybe the management at this location...
Read morei eat here 2 maybe 3 times a week. i 4ake my mom, she loves eating here. until today. we went in and i ordered french Onion soup. i then said 2 bravo sauce please. then i said i want a BLT Sandwich. she asked a half Sandwich or full. i said full is fine. we went to a table. buzzer went off. i went to the window took half the order to the table. didnt see any bravo sauce. i went back for the salad, ask about the bravo sauce. the lady said ti me. you didnt order any. i said a i did. she print a receipt Aggressively puts it on the counter and says no i didnt and if i want some i would have to go back up to the counter and pay for it. i said really. she just walked away. i went to my table and my mom asked if my Sandwich wasw what i ordered, i looked at it and said no.i took it back up to the window with receipt in hand and a guy wearing a different colored shirt said whats wrong. i told him, i ordered BLT only. this has Avocado and chicken or turkey. he looked at the receipt puts on the counter and says, thats what you ordered.i told him no sir i ordered a BLT not this.he tells me read the menu next time. thats what panera BLT is. wow at this point im so tired of dealing with this. i look at him and i did say what ever, you keep, i want be back. with attitude he replys do you want another one. i walked away. then i finished my soup. by the window, i hear them laughing about it. so i asked a lady cleaning tables, can you tell me what the manager's name was. she tells me, what manager, i said the short white guy behind the counter. we dont have a white guy working. i laughed and said ok, she went to the counter told the lady something and pointed at me.that lady left the window. i didnt say anything left it alone. as i went to get a fresh drink. i looked in the window and the guy was gone. I've noticed the food industry has used this covid thing to become awfull at customer service. i want return to this location and i dont expect panera to do any thing to make me happy. but it would be nice if if they would look at Chick-fil-A or Zaxby,s. the customer service is great. i got no refund...
Read moreExtremely disappointed! I couldn't wait to try the croissant toast sandwich so that's what I ordered along with a Madagascar vanilla iced latte with foam, extra foam. As you can see in the pics, the "croissant toast" looks absolute nothing like the pics they have of them, it actually doesn't look like croissant at all, and it didn't taste like one. It's looks and tastes like regular thick toast. It was very sloppily put together and it hardly has anything on it. It was very dry and crumbly , so this was a huge let down! My coffee ... Madagascar vanilla latte with EXTRA foam. She sat it on the counter and it had no foam so I asked for the extra foam that I ordered and paid extra for. She didn't seem very happy but did it and brought it back with a very thin layer of foam. The latter truly tasted like watery milk , had no coffee flavor and no vanilla flavor, not to mention the pitiful attempt at "extra" foam. The whole visit was a disappointment . I honestly do not think the bread was "croissant toast" and it's obvious they do not care about customer satisfaction nor do they care about the food they put out as I said it was very sloppily put together with VERY LITTLE of the Ingredients that comes on the sandwich. It was just a sad pathetic looking toast sandwich next to an extremely watered down "latte" that tasted like nothing more than watery milk. Waste of time and money, they should be ashamed of the quality of the food and drink...
