Ok... this will be a long one. The sign was off, so I drove right by it. I show up at 9:59 go in the lobby and they tell me the lobby is closed and that I must go through the drive through. If the restaurant was closing, I would understand. However, they were open another hour. I pull up to the drive through and advise them I had 3 orders. There was no one in line. They advised me to give them 2 orders then drive around. I felt this was absolutely poor customer service, especially since their lobby was not locked and they kicked me out. I give them both orders, one with no cheese (due to severe allergies). I pull up to the window and pay for the food . I check the receipts and they were recorded correctly. They give me the 2 salads. One had no chicken on it and the other had cheese on it. I gave them back they corrected them. Or so I thought. Then the no cheese had the wrong chicken on it. I gave it back and they attempted to fix it again. I had asked for the chicken to be packed separately so it does not wilt the salad. In the process of "fixing their mistakes" they took the cheese off the regular salad order. I had to bring the food back to my fellow officers at the Sheriff's Office. After witnessing there inability to follow their own receipt, I now understand why they are unable to handle 3 orders through the drive through. At this point there was no way in the world I was going go back through the drive through so my personal order would be messed up or tampered with. They could learn so lessons from Chick Fillet. Read moreWas driving through Jacksonville, Florida to our next vacation destination and stopped at Zaxby's for dinner. I was excited about eating there because we do not have this restaurant in our hometown and my partner had never eaten there. She did not want the chicken so she purchased the Cheese Bites. After her sixth or seventh bite she bit into a ROTTEN TOOTH!!!!! We immediately called the restaurant back (but we knew we went turn back down the freeway) spoke to the cashier that rang us out then to the manager. The manager stated that she prepared the order so she wasn't sure how a rotten tooth could have gotten into the bite. We understand the all Zaxby's does is fry the bites. They don't bread them. Yet, the batch of bites which we received was contaminated. All manager could say is she would pass this on to her general manager (Mr. Aaron) and he will contact me the following day. I asked Ms. Britt would she like for me to send her the pictures. After sending the pictures and getting a response back from her I waited until the next afternoon for Mr. Aaron phone call or even the manager but nothing. Read moreDude at the counter asked a woman who came in after me if she needed anything before helping me out, which no big deal, it happens. However he did not ever ask me if I needed anything. He continued a conversation with another "customer" about going over to her place, getting to know her better and even smoking weed with her. A lady from the back had to come and ask me what I needed after waiting for about 8 minutes (which was a simple order pick up that I already paid for online)
He may have been getting off work soon but why would he ask someone else if needed something/be the only one at the counter? Very bad experience, customer service was terrible and I will avoid this location and use the Callahan location from now on, which has better cooked food anyways.
EDIT Went again today because the app doesn't set the pickup destination to the closest store, but the last store you ordered from so we had to drive 30+ minutes to get our food and we were missing ouroaded bacon fries. The employees seems stressed so I'm not faulting them but two bad experiences in a row paired with a laggy app is just unexcusable.
