I was born and raised in (Williamsburg) Brooklyn, New York. My entire family and friends always went to Fortunato Brothers, Bakery in Brooklyn, NY for their delicious pastries, cookies and cakes! Moved to Florida in 2022, I've been searching for the best restaurants, bakeries, etc. Heaven sent, I met a customer at my work place that was wearing "Fortunato Brothers - Bakery in Brooklyn, NY" T-Shirt!!! Blown away, I had to ask...relationship/owners??? Biagio was the pastry chef of Fortunato Brothers | Bakery in Brooklyn, NY. Small World! Biagio and his wife Gladys confirmed they plan to open up a bakery in the future. Fast-forward...They're finally opened!!! I have been looking for an authentic Italian Bakery and my/your search is OVER! Newly opened, Biagio and Joey's Italian Bakery. I pre-ordered a Frutti di Bosco (Mixed Berry Cake) which I could not find ANYWHEREEEEE!!!! Thank you Gladys! Thank you, Biagio for making this cake for my newly to-be son in-law. This cake had his eye's rolling all over the place and sounds of enjoyment while he took every bite. I also order some Italian Rainbow Cookies, SOOOO good! Lobster-Tail, crispy outer layer, topped with Confectioners sugar and filled with custard was oh-soooo yummy! Last but not least, we also grabbed their freshly baked Italian bread...H-E-A-V-E-N!!! (see pictures). In addition, just started to serve their Brick Oven Pizza and Cafe as well. I'll be back for sure ;) The building itself was questionable... but seems the recent Hurricane Helen had a lot to do with it. Overall, the bakery it self is newly renovated, great variety of pastries/cookies, Bread, clean, my family and I were greeted with smiles and A+ Service! Take a drive... YOU WILL NOT BE...
Read moreWe used Biagio and Joeyâs Italian bakery to cater Italian desserts for my daughters wedding. We couldnât have been more happier, everyone loved the desserts. The sfogiatellaâs were amazing, with a beautiful crispy, flaky crust. They made the sfogiatellaâs mini and also the cannolis mini which were perfect. All the cannolis were gone, but I ordered a larger amount of sfogiatellaâs and we had left overs which we put in freezer and they heated up in oven as if they were fresh. The cookie selection also was a big hit especially the almond cookie. I so recommend this Italian bakery for anyone wanting true Italian desserts for their wedding, party, gathering or just for a personal dessert. â¤ď¸ Oh, my husband and I previewed the bakery before we decided on them and they we so gracious in helping in any way. Btw, the lobster tail was amazing, although we did not use for wedding as too large of a...
Read moreIf youâre after a thick, creamy, and utterly satisfying treat, youâve got to wrap your lips around Joeyâs Cannoli. At Joeyâs, we donât mess around with soulless machines pumping out sad little shells. Oh no,,,every shell here is handcrafted with those thick bear paws. Thatâs right, folks, at Joeyâs, every cannoli gets a hand job.
But wait, it gets better. One bite, and youâll be greeted by an explosion of Joeyâs delicious signature creamy filling. Itâs thick, itâs sweet, and itâs guaranteed to come bursting out from all the right places. Our cannoli doesnât just hit the spot; it completely ruins your ability to enjoy any other pastry.
So donât settle for mediocre. Come to Joeyâs, where the cream flows freely, the shells are perfectly firm, and satisfaction is always guaranteed. Warning: It might get messy gobbling several inches of pure perfection, so bring a...
