I went to Dairy Queen specifically to get a pup cup for my dog. The DQ's I've been to with my dog in Alpharetta, Marietta, Dawsonville, and Lawrenceville all offer complimentary pup cups for your dog when you place an order. Not only was my order incorrect, but I was charged $1.29 +tax for a child's ice cream!!! When I asked about it, the girl was very defensive, stating "We don't offer pup cups! We have to charge you for a kid's ice cream!" I asked why Jasper DQ charges, when the other DQ's don't. She said "We have different owners!" I wish she had told me when I placed my order that they are not dog friendly. I wouldn't have ordered. They got me once... No more! UPDATE ** I received a very nice response from the owner on my review. I can not respond to their reply. They said nothing about training their personnel to advise the customers if they don't offer a product. They carefully did not mention their POLICY at the Jasper location, in an animal loving town, to persist keeping their NON DOG FRIENDLY Policy. There are lots of other places to get...
Read moreWell unfortunately I am writing this review because I experienced something that I never thought would happen . After all my years of wondering if it ever happens I learned at this DQ it Can!!! For the first time in all the Dairy Queens I've been to across America. I was the victim to an employee not caring and not turning my blizzard upside down. then I got to be double disappointed as my blizzard also wasn't full like normal. After receiving everything in the drive thru we parked to check our food and eat. Another bad experience coming your way. The fries were completely dead. they weren't hot like they had been left out of the warmer but they also were able to easily identified as recooked fries. SO I cant get fresh fries firstly and then to boot even though you refried them I still couldn't get them slightly warm. nope hard cool...
Read moreInteresting story. My family and I are long time members of the community. We live, work and play in Jasper GA. Recently my son and I decided to take out our Ford Focus electric and go to Dairy Queen. We have gas cars as well. Pulling into the parking lot we noticed a public charging station in front of a parking spot complete with plug. We ordered our food in the drive thru and pulled in front of the charger. After plugging in i noticed an employee giving me the stink eye. I asked if something was wrong. She went inside and returned saying the owner, “AJ” doesn’t want anyone using his charger. She said I could call him. I asked for the phone number but she quickly changed her mind. She said he was watching me on camera. Thought tree huggers were supposed to share. Get a sign and hide your...
