For the most part, I have a decent experience using the Starbucks app at several of their locations. It helps to save time and helps with the accuracy of my order. Every now and then you can get the odd mistake or long wait because they misplaced the order but that is a rarity at most locations. Also, I've always come to except great customer service from Starbucks. However, this location is by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had!!!
I ordered a Venti cold brew on the app and arrived about 10 minutes later. Even with 7 employees behind the counter it took additional 5 minutes for even one of them to acknowledge me only to find out that my drink wasn't ready. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I finally got my drink but was abruptly told "we only have small straws" which would make it impossible to use for a venti size cup. The employee then said "You could walk over to Panera and see if they have large straws" thinking that was good customer service?
This straw issues has happened before at other locations but the employees there resolved the issue by giving me a large reusable straw free of charge. When I asked the employee if I could do that he said I'd need to speak with the manager. After waiting for another 10 minutes the manager finally came over and I had to repeat everything that had transpired. She said that they have been out of the big straws for a while but she could sell me a packaged reusable straw. When I asked why I would have to pay for a straw to have my drink she said we don't give these away for free. So in order to for me to have the drink I just bought I need to make an additional purchase because of their lack of inventory? At best this is horrible customer service at worst this is extortion.
When I asked for a refund because of this she rolled her eyes and passive aggressively said "I guess so" with no additional attempt at trying to make things right or customer service.
Overall I wasted about 40 minutes of my time this morning only to end up with nothing for it. The level of incompetency and lack of urgency at this location is only overshadowed by their horrible customer service.
Needless to say, I will no longer go to this location or giving them any of my money or time again! If you enjoy being treated in a subpar manner then this is your place, if not I would recommend...
Read moreI don't like to write reviews, but I have had 2 bad experiences lately at that Starbucks and I was quite upset. So one of the times, the woman at the drive-thru took our order and when we got to the window, 1 of the drinks was wrong and we were missing an item. Therefore, we waited for the right drink and she gave us the pastry we were missing. When she gives us the right drink, she hands it to us leaking all over the place and instead of giving us napkins, she just hands it to us like that. My husband had to ask for napkins. She gives him the napkins and apologizes and gives him a $4 gift card. Fast forward to us trying to use the gift card and it has a $0 balance 🤦♀️. Ok, moving on to the next situation...This day I decide that I will pre-order through the app. I do and I am running behind the time that it was supposed to be ready by about 5 minutes. I get there and my drink is there but my cheese danish is not. I patiently wait about another 5 minutes. Now I'm starting to worry that I'm going to be late for work. There is a woman standing in front of me and tells 1 of the baristas that she is missing a cheese Danish from her pick up order. The lady responds "Oh she is running a little behind. She will get it for you." And she looks toward the cashier. Meanwhile the cashier is taking customer, after customer, after customer who is in line and she is restocking supplies too. Then I say to that same barista the woman asked, "Excuse me, I too am waiting for a cheese danish, maybe she forgot because she is doing other things now." And she gives me the same robotic answer "She is running a little behind. She will get it for you." So I tell her, "I am going to be late. What was the point of me ordering ahead then?" She literally just looks another way and keeps doing what she is doing. Just horrible customer service! Not everyone there is like...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite Starbucks. It's on my way to work so it's a very convenient location for me. Unfortunately lately the staff is becoming less helpful and more rude. A lot of them look like they're being punished because they have to be there. I order my coffee and food through a Starbucks app. The problem is that at some point they have stopped updating their menu online. I order something online thinking it's going to be ready and I can just pick it up on my way to work only to find out they don't have this item. I then have to flag someone down because obviously they're very busy and nobody's paying attention and then I have to wait to be reimbursed. At least the first many times this happened they were apologetic about it. Today however the manager named Samantha was talking to me like I should be used to this bad service by now and just deal with it. After I was able to finally stop her and ask her where my food was she said "we don't have your salad so just have to call the Starbucks phone number if you want your money back" then she proceeded to walk away. I asked her why the menu on the app was not updated and she said "I don't know. I got here not too long ago" I asked for my money back right away so she asked another employee to give me a refund on my app. She definitely did not hide the fact she was annoyed with me. Now I am on my way to work hungry and without lunch and running few minutes late because my order was not ready and I had to wait for the refund. I really hope they can get their act together at this location. For now I will need to find a different...
