Took my Momma there for a late lunch after a Dr.'s Appointment on Fri 10/26/18. We had ironically just received coupons in the mail this week. Used the "2 dine for $9.99 which was 2 reg. Roast Beef Sandwiches, 2 fries, 2 small drinks and 2 turnovers. Our food was prepared fresh, it was approximately 2:30 pm. There was a Gentleman in the dining area in the booth behind us working on his laptop. When our food was ready, they called my name. I got back, and told Mom " I forgot they serve curly fries", neither of us care for them. I said to Mom "It's our fault not theirs". No problem, with everything else we had, it was plenty. The Gentleman on the laptop heard us and offered to make us each an order of their Potato Cakes, at no charge. They brought them out when they were ready. Good and hot. The coupon was for small fries & small drinks. We were given large cups for our drinks. Sandwiches were good, warm enough, juicy and tasted great. We both brought out turnovers home. Great experience, food, atmosphere and found out that the Gentleman with the laptop was a Supervisor, either that store or possibly an area Supervisor. I was impressed with everything. This is the Arby's off of Blankenbaker Pkwy near I-64. Thx to everyone there for Mom actually not having anything to complain about. She's a tough cookie to...
Read moreWhoever the manager or MOD was on the day I came, May 14th, needs to be fired. It was a black man (only noting that because he didn’t even come out of the back to talk to me so I didn’t see his name, that’s the only identifier I have as to who he was), who got seriously huffy and aggravated at me (and his employees) for asking to have my order fixed. I just wanted the plain chicken slider that was literally a piece of chicken with a slice of cheese on a bun, I even asked if that was available and the girl at the register said yes. They gave me a BBQ one, so I came in and explained that I meant a regular non-sauced one with cheese. The employees asked how he wanted to handle it and he got frustrated. He was mad and told the staff to charge me since he “had to make something not on the menu” and starting getting short with his staff for no reason. I finally said just give me extra fries cause it wasn’t worth the drama but it’s seriously a $1.19 slider that was on the menu for YEARS. It didn’t have to be so dramatic. I felt bad for the employees, too, cause they looked uncomfortable. That’s why I left it at two stars, not one, cause they did genuinely...
Read moreNormally a poor fast food experience doesn't even rate bad enough for me leave a comment. This experience was overall terrible.
Upon opening my box I discover a sandwich that looks as if it's on yesterday's bread and was slapped in the oven long enough to warm it up but not even long enough to remelt the cheese. I guess I should have been happy about that since the fries were cold to the touch and hard! Now don't be thinking ah this guy drove half an hour home and didn't open it till then. No, rather, I'm staying right across the street at a hotel that is less than 2 minutes away. On top of all that I was asked if I wanted sauce with my meal and simply not given any. I would've preferred to not even be acknowleged. Overall this is one of those orders you open that you're scared to even eat.
This Arby's will not be recieving my...
