The location is pretty nice (nice view, in the shade, no cars). However, this is not like regular Bluestone Lane restaurants when there is a full service. You need to order for pick up and then you can sit outside to eat. A couple of things to note here. Firstly, because of the wind, half of your food flies away (the couple right next to us had their coffee dropped to the floor because of the wind). Then, the quality of the food is much lower than in the other restaurants of the chain. We ordered toasts with jam and butter, and we received our toast with the jam already spread on it... I guess the butter was just decorative... Finally, you need to go inside to pick up your food as they do not advise you when it is ready. Your order keeps coming out piece by piece so you need to go inside (or wait inside) every 5 minutes until you have your entire order. I would really recommend going to another location, unless you just want to drink your coffee in the shade with...
Read moreNot as great as it's Hoboken location. The outdoor seating area wasn't clean and it wasn't explicitly saying that this location didn't have dine-in. I sorted these out and started placing my order for pick-up instead. I waited for some notification or my food to appear at the pick-up area for good 10-15mins, only to realize none of the ordered items from the menu were actually available at the cafe. Lol this inefficiency just drove us crazy. I travel places and review places and wanted to have comfortable food right next to my house and this is the experience.
They were not able to refund us the money for the items and we had to pay for the new order again. LOL!
Exchanged my experience with the company and they offered us a free coffee worth 5$. So I give it another shot, picked up my free coffee and was able to hear from others the same experience and they were expressing discomfort on a busy Tuesday morning.

Read moreThe coffee and pastries here are decent and I find myself going at least once a week. The interior is nice but I usually don’t stick around. I’ve tried both hot and cold drinks, the lattes seem to be consistently good. I live in the neighborhood so I’ve gone early in the morning and later in the afternoon and the croissants are significantly better earlier in the day. I’ve also purchased some of the cold-pressed juices and they’re quite refreshing and tasty. The service is only OK - sometimes it takes a really long time to get your order when the place is busy and the workers don’t seem to have any hustle. There’s also a young man who’s made several (unintentionally?) patronizing comments like “have you finally decided yet?” after I stop to consider my order or “woah, slow down there” when I try to pay for my items. Small nitpick but it’s annoying and there are many options in the area, like Maman, Gregory’s...
