Carlo's Bakery Cake Headquarters — Restaurant in Jersey City

Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to say thank Buddy for putting in the most adorable cake vending machine at the Don Bon Jovi rest stop on the Garden State Parkway. I have always wanted to get a cake from one of your bakery but as I live to far away and never could. Late on wed night 2/22/2023 I stopped at the Don Bon Jovi stop headed to AC and my husband and I shared a piece of the confetti cake slice. The machine it self is very whimsical, The cake slice was big enough for us to eat in the car. I don't know if Buddy will ever see this but I want to thank him for make such a fantastic cake slice. It is the best that I have every had. If you see these Carlo's Bake Shop Express anywhere you will not be disappointed, The slices are worth every penny, So should you see one of these pop up cake machine. Take a moment and eat some cake like I did.

I drove all the way from Woodbridge NJ so that’s a 1 1/2 hour drive just to come down to try the treats of someone I grew up watching on TV and loved. It but when I got to the bakery the people working there was not welcoming and my exasperation’s were really high ! I brought a red velvet cake, carrot cake and a chocolate cupcake . The cakes were so DRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! The carrot cake was so dry the red velvet cake was really dry and it had a bitter taste to it I did not like I was really disappointed 😔. I was not pleased at all wont be visiting anymore unless I was told Carols is gong to be there and baking the cakes ! Other then that I’m sorry I rather go to a dinner and get me a pace of cake ! My 5 year old loves sweets I mean what kid don’t ? But I brought her the cupcake and she took 2 bites and said no thank you can we go to wegmans and get cupcake...

I love the buddy show for many years I watched it. I always wanted to try something from your store. i have been to santa monica in los angeles and they were closed, also went to the philadelphia headquarters and now to hoboken and was very happy to try their canolis (i have never had a canoli before because i wanted to try buddy's)...it has always made me happy liked it so much that I have refused to watch videos on YouTube of people telling their experience. because I wanted my own experience. I recommend it but I want to say and remind the pastry shop that they provide a service to the customer and that it is important that the windows in the displays look clean (as a customer I pay attention to those details) I also want to say that they are famous and that they should always give the size so that they do not lower...
