#18 ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, onions on white bread. $12+. The meat was fresh, although not alot of meat as expected by Subway. The veggies and bread were not so fresh but edible. Next time, I will go to Blimpie. Only because "Our Hero" on Bergen closes at 5pm because they have THE best subs EVER! The service was in no rush even if a line of people were to the door. That didn't mean attentive service though, still had to constantly remind them of what u want, unlike the other 2 places I mentioned above.

Waited for 10 minutes and none of the 2 employees didn’t even looked at me, I wish I could understand what was so important that 2 employees had to talk about to the gentleman with the red striped shirt and to top it all off the guy with the white jacket cut the line, if they are this slow at 4 am in the morning I wonder how they work during the day when it gets busier

Dirty tables, no smile on employees, dead face no greeting the customers nothing. The place was so dirty, looks like it was not cleaned for months, the whole place was stinking bad. The food safety department should step in and close the whole restaurant for unhygenic place and toxic employees. They employees should be thought basic manners to greet the customers.

At about 12:10 am on June 22nd I went to the Subway restaurant in Journal Square to buy 6 cookies. The cashier put three oatmeal raisin cookies in a box and while she was reaching for the double chocolate cookies, she dropped the tongs on the floor. I was looking right at her when she patted her leg with the dirty tongs once or twice and then reached for the cookies with the tongs she didn't wash. I told her I didn't want the cookies and started walking out. She tried to stop me by saying something but I was not interested in anything she had to say. That woman was going to actually give me cookies she picked up with dirty tongues with no conscious and no guilt possibly making me sick. In the past 11 or 12 years I have eaten at that Subway more than any restaurant in Journal Square and because of what happened, I will never eat there again. Besides that, when I walked in the store, there was a large, long duffle bag probably belonging to a homeless person lying on the middle of the store with its owner nowhere in sight. I should have walked out when I saw it. Unattended bags anywhere are a potential danger to life and limb and the workers in the store saw it sitting there and were...

Sad to say my 1st experience wasn't a good one. I went in to order with a friend. The initial tone I was address with felt rushed even though at the time we were the only ones there (my friend was not near the line). I was rushed to choose my next item for the 2 sandwiches I was building and I guarantee I was already moving swiftly so it felt unnecessary.

As I was choosing my sauces a homeless man entered and the 2 people who were previously rush my order had so much time now to watch the man suspiciously. They didn't move a single muscle they only watched the man as my friend offered to buy him food (my friend approached him). They watched him so hard they ignored to 4 other customers, ready to order, who came in afterwards. They waited at least 7 minutes to receive service.

Their attitudes and patience grew worse and more clear on their faces when the homeless man began to order after the 4 people went. They shouted, and rushed the man, limited what he could order even though it was covered. When my friend wanted to get a cup of water for the man, they refused to give it to them. After all this it was the heartlessness that offended me more than the service. I haven't...

Make sure going to educated young girl working at this subway than old woman who can't understand english. When you order the sub and after giving her all the details especially the noneducated older indian woman, she pretend like she heard everything but when she asks you what bread you want then you know she didn't even understood you and also after giving her instructions of how bread toasted she does opposite of what you want like toasting the bread with Tuna and then when asked, she immediately says you didn't tell me that , then other young indian co worker seems educated has told, he told already about the bread toasting with cheese first then she says OK I will make it then she removed the Tuna from the bread and then put the cheese on it and toast it. And bread got burned for keeping it for too long in the toaster and that you get to take...
