The Indian Tapas — Restaurant in Jersey City

Visited my funemployed friend here for lunch at a time when I was craving fast casual Indian food, and wouldn't you know it--this hit the spot.

We shared the Chicken Tikka Roll for two, which clocked in at $15 total for two hefty wraps of juicy chicken tikka masala cubes combined with parathas, pickle, yoghurt, and mayo.

And though that was more than enough, I also tried the Vada Paav, one of my favorite Indian street snacks. How can you go wrong with a friend potato sandwich topped with green chutney? It's proof that God exists, and he speaks Hindi. The potato fritter here was perfectly crisp and starchy, and the accompanying green chutney was spot on. Not to mention, the bread was pillowy soft. Mmmm, Indian foodgasm.

Loved everything about this cute cozy cafe style place! It’s perfect to dine in or a quick pick up OTG. Great quality quantity and varieties of both veg and non-veg Khati Rolls and the unique Bao Sandwiches. Excellent taste with the right amount of ingredients and bursting flavors! Along with their delicious desserts and flavored Lassi. It’s a Must try!! I definitely recommend and encourage y’all. Just stumbled upon this brand new entry into the JC dining scene and was pleasantly surprised!! The perfect sized limited menu offers a fusion take on staple street food. Tinkering too much with a good thing can easily go wrong. Thrilled to say that they’ve absolutely nailed it with the taste. Tried the Chicken Tikka and Paneer Hariyali Roll, both fantastic — even better than the Kati Rolls Co in the city. Can’t wait to try their Chicken Bao bun and other stuff on the menu !
