My husband and I went to McGinley Pub on a Monday night to get rid of our Monday morning blues(it worked!). We shared the rum & coke bucket between us and had a chicken sandwich and a veggie bean sandwich. The food and drinks were great and the bartender was nice. We even got to play a round of darts. Overall, a nice pub to hang out with friends or dates!

I had a couple Other Half beers on tap; they were great. I didn't order food because I had already eaten, but I'm glad I didn't because when I hit the bathroom before I left, it was in a STATE. I was there 6PM on a Friday, and I was the only one at the bar. And yet, the ladies' bathroom (men's was out of order) was still gross as hell.

Very nice addition to the McGinley Square neighborhood as the name already implies. If I can describe it any way it has a bit of a dive feel along with a speak easy feel (except it's above ground). Nice selection of craft beers that are constantly rotating. The owner seems to have a sharp eye for picking good craft beers from various breweries. To top it all off all craft draft beers are 5$ flat.

Not a huge bar but can fit a decent amount of people. He has a decent selection of board games out and a dart board of your feeling daring.

There is also a nice cozy back room with a fire place. It's perfect for those cold winter days. Parking will be a bit tricky, but you may luck out on Bergen Ave or one of the nearby residential blocks. Just a fair warning there are no tvs, but he has a big projector to turn on during football games I believe; just call ahead if that is important for you. Or just pretend it's the 60s/70s and actually interact and socialize...

I had an amazing experience at McKinley Square Pub! The location is perfect, just steps away from Saint Petersburg College, making it a great spot for students, locals, and visitors alike.

The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, with a great mix of laid-back charm and lively energy. Whether you’re looking to grab a quick bite or unwind with friends, this pub has something for everyone.

The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and fast. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and taken care of. They’ve got a great selection of drinks, and the food is delicious, with generous portions that are sure to satisfy.

If you’re in the area, especially near SPC, McKinley Square Pub is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be...

We only had wings but they were amazing. We went to the place because of the reviews. We are not from this area so we have no vested interest in writing a review but we really wanted to because of how impressed we were.

This bar is trying, and successfully doing so I might add, to create an environment of fun, socializing and humor. If you're looking for a place to have a few drinks, play some games (pool, arcades, etc) and socialize.

I cannot recommend this place enough.

Simply put, it is a great environment to relax, socialize, have some fun and be yourself.

100% for sure this place will be our first choice to stop by when we visit this area.
