After 3 years of saying we'd go to Old Peking. Threatening it as if it's a food poisoning case waiting to happen, we finally went. And for 3 years and living in the area I can say I wasted my money on other places that cost way more.
Here's the thing. Dumplings are their own thing. Usually dumplings are paper-thin. There's are super thick. Just how they do it. Maybe you love them. Maybe not. The insides are good but I wasn't a fan of the dough. Not a knock on them, they did everything perfect I just don't love it.
However. Egg rolls. Orange chicken. Rice. All that other stuff we got. It's an incredible meal, it's enough to eat for 2 or so days. I'm so happy to have finally went (friend told me that despite moving to the city, he still comes back just for Old Peking. That was the final push)

The beef with green beans was decent. The egg rolls were good.
We will certainly...

The taste of the dumplings was slightly disappointing (very thick outer layer, almost tasted like a bao) and even though the other two dishes were tasty, they were quite oily and filled us up too quickly! The food is great value for money but not sure if we will...
