5-Star Delight at Antara Chicken: A Peruvian Paradise! Oh man, where do I even start with Antara Chicken? This hidden gem of Peruvian cuisine absolutely blew me away from the moment I walked in. If you’re craving authentic flavors with a modern twist, this is your spot – trust me, it’s worth every bite! First off, the food: AMAZING doesn’t even cover it. Their signature rotisserie chicken is juicy, perfectly seasoned with that classic Peruvian aji verde sauce that packs just the right amount of zing and freshness. I paired it with their yuca fries – crispy on the outside, fluffy inside – and a side of anticuchos (grilled beef heart skewers) that were tender, smoky, and marinated to perfection. Everything tasted so fresh and vibrant, like it was straight from a Lima street market but elevated to gourmet levels. Portions are generous too, so you won’t leave hungry. Whether you’re a Peruvian food newbie or a seasoned fan, the menu has something that’ll make your taste buds dance! And the service? Top-notch all the way. The staff was super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely passionate about the food – they even gave spot-on recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. Our server checked in just the right amount, refilled drinks promptly, and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. It’s that rare combo of efficiency and heart that turns a meal into a memorable event. Atmosphere-wise, it’s cozy with colorful Peruvian decor that sets a lively vibe without being too loud. Perfect for a casual date night or grabbing takeout for a family feast. Prices are reasonable for the quality – I left feeling like I got way more than my money’s worth. If you’re anywhere near Antara Chicken, do yourself a favor and go. It’s not just a meal; it’s a flavor adventure that’ll have you planning your next visit before you even finish. 10/10, would recommend to anyone! 🇵🇪🍗 #cosaseria 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 ask for Thalia....
Read moreAn excellent restaurant.
The restaurant was a little hard to find, there was no sign on the building letting you know where it is. The service was good and they offered samples of some of the more local foods to see if you would like them before you ordered it. They offered to me ice cream flavored with a fruit that was local to Peru (which was very good), and a drink made with purple corn (which I did not take because I just wanted water). The seats seemed to be missing some cushioning. Service was really good.
I ordered the 1/4th roasted dark chicken with two sides which came out to be 12.50. The sides I ordered were yuca frita and a salad. The salad was good but not super special. But the chicken and yuca frita were amazing. The main thing that surprised me about both were not the flavors but the textures. The chicken had good flavor but the thing I really noticed was the tenderness and juiciness of the chicken. The tenderness was almost fall off the bone and the chicken could be easily pulled apart and every bite was juicy. The taste of the yuca frita was some where between a french fry and a sweet potato fry, but the texture of the fry was the highlight for me, a crispy, kind of glassy skin with a creamy interior. The sauces were good also, to me the green sauce was the better one.
I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for...

(It was hard to find at the time we went they didn’t have a sign up yet but it’s in the shopping mall of the Ollie’s. The address is correct, it’s next to Tacos Del Julio)
The service was top notch, the food was delicious, and at a great price. Their sauces are really good too. We went for the inka cola 2L (love they had that option). They only have cans for drinks no refills here. But try the inka or Chicha.
We got the whole chicken combo 2 for a family of 3. It was a good portion. The place is also nicely decorated and big. They have live music on the weekends. A little stage in the corner.
The booth we sat in was a little uncomfortable it was missing more cushion could feel the wooden boards. But the other booths looked to be fine.
The owner came out to talk to us and check how everything was. Great service and they truly seem to care and take pride in their food.
1000% recommend this place! We gotta keep authentic...
