So I happen to work close by this week and I normally bring my lunch with me. But this time, I was in the market to go somewhere for lunch and I happen to notice russo's here. Now I've been to a few russo's before, very delicious and the pizza by the slice are about as big as your head. But when I showed up at 11:40 in the morning. The door was locked. I pushed and pulled on both doors, I ever knocked. No answer. Such a shame. I was looking forward to this for lunch. I just gave the food, service, and atmosphere an average rating of 3. Since I really didn't experience it. Hopefully, next time, there be open. BTW, if you see my attached photos, it clearly states open at 11am on Saturdays. :::UPDATE::: so, I came back and decided to give them another try. Yes, they were open and I got the meatball parmesan sub sandwich for lunch. Very Delicious, I'll definitely marked them down for a place to eat for lunch again. But I have one weird experience though. Not sure if it was the manager per say, but he seem to be bossing ppl around and I saw him come from the back with two huge crates of eggs and place them into he's car and drive off. Not saying he's stealing from the company. But that looked very suspect to...

We were excited about going as we used to enjoy going to the one on 290 before it closed down. Service was poor as the salad finally came out 10 minutes after the pizza. We were told they're about to "get around to it". Gee, thanks. Then he proceeded to do things other than make the salad. When we asked about it after 5 minutes we were told they needed to balance out their tasks. Ok. We finally went up to cancel the salad after 10 minutes and they finally started making it. It was finally delivered to the table and was completely wrong and had to be remade! Ugh! The gentleman that finally brought the correct salad was very apologetic, but by then everyone else at the table was done eating. Salad dressing tasted watered down as well. Pizza crust was done but toppings were not cooked sufficiently and veggies were watery, and it didn't taste very good overall. We didn't box anything up and left half the food there. Very expensive as well. $57 for a pizza, house salad with chicken added, and three sodas. Won't be going back. Very disappointed as we were expecting it to be like the one that was on 290. It is...

I am sooooo disappointed. I visited this store for the first time yesterday. The pizza was excellent. I met Anthony Russo and we talked about pizza back in Jersey. Today, I ordered online for pickup. The pizza was ready when I got there. I ordered the 16x16 Paesano and added ricotta cheese for $3.50. I opened the box to take a look. There was a mere spackling of ricotta. I took it back to the guy at the counter and I said that they needed to put some ricotta on that pizza. He gave it to the woman behind the counter and told her to put more ricotta on the pizza. She pulled out the nearly empty container of ricotta and attempted to add more to my pizza. Then she brought it back to me, shrugged her shoulders, and said, "sorry." I guess this is the norm. I now understand that the pizza was so good yesterday because Anthony was there. The pizza I got today barely had toppings on it. Never again. I will not be back. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sorry Anthony...you better stay on top of...

You wanna see what racism looks like come here. A black manager took my order. There was one family already eating and father and son behind me and my four kids. As we waited, my black families came in, like four different ones. After the two Togo orders got there’s I simply walked up and ask about my order . He played stupid like he didn’t just take my order 28mins prior. Then I watched him carry pizzas dishes and silver ware to all the other families. After 41 mins, I was frustrated and walked up again and he didn’t even acknowledge me. Another lady spoke to me and THEY HAVENT EVEN PUT THE PIZZAS IN THE OVEN. When the pizzas finally came out they just left them sitting until I just walked up and grab them. I also had to get our plates and silverware. While I carried my own pizzas he took a pizza to another black family and joking said” yeah some people can’t wait” I will never come back to this place or any other Russos .

Went to this Russo's on 1960 and 290. Earlier that day had received email for BOGO free lasagna. To our surprise, THIS Russo's does NOT serve pasta dishes!! We opted for a 12" pizza with our choice of toppings, and a Cucumber and Feta salad. Pizza was fresh, cooked just right and very tasty. Cucumber and Feta salad had sliced organic cucumbers with feta cheese, juicy Roma tomatoes, onions, rich Kalamata olives, and fresh garlic, tossed with Sicilian extra-virgin olive oil. Very refreshing and great combination of flavors. Kalamata olives just explode with flavor in your mouth. While slight disappointment from not getting lasagna, it was a great dinner, friendly and helpful staff, clean and cool dinning area. Overall a great visit! So, treat yourself!
