Service is pretty slow and customer service is terrible. Only one person working at the register, and there were maybe 3 people in line including myself. She started telling the people behind me to use the self-kiosk. I asked what was part of the 2 for $4 breakfast sandwich deal and she listed them. I picked one sandwich from her list and ordered for that 2 for $4 deal, and one small coffee and a cup for water. My sandwiches came out, but they forgot about my coffee and water cup. The cashier was running around trying to fix everyone else's orders as well. It was just her working on dine-in orders while 2 other women were working on drive-thru orders. Took a while to get her attention to ask for my coffee. Didn't bother asking for a water cup anymore. As I was eating, my friend pointed out that I was charged more than $4 for the 2 sandwiches. I didn't catch that earlier. I went back up to the cashier and told her that she charged me more than $4. She said that sandwich isn't part of the 2 for $4 deal. And I said that you told me it was when I asked you what was part of that deal, and picked from your list. I guess she was trying to save herself from getting into trouble b/c only her supervisors could open the register and didn't want to face them with her mistake. One supervisor came over and I explained the situation how her employee told me the wrong information and I want a $3 refund b/c that's how much extra I paid. The older lady (she's been working there for a while and has always had an attitude problem with customers) told me "that sandwich isn't part of the deal, so why should I give you a refund." I said that's why I asked b/c it's not written on the menu anywhere (it was after breakfast time, but McDonalds serves all day breakfast). She pointed to the screen behind her without even turning to look at it, and she pointed to a 2 for $5 hamburger deal. I said "Oh you mean the 2 for $5 burger deal? That has nothing to do with this." With an eye roll, she opened the cash register and slowly took out 3 dollar bills one by one and handed them over to me, and said "Now you know what's part of the deal." I told her "well now you know to give your customers the right answers instead of trying to cheat them." I don't know what is that older lady's deal, but she does not know how customer service works. If she doesn't want to fix the problem and just argue with people, she should work somewhere she doesn't have to interact to customers daily. Plus, they need to schedule more staff...
Read moreI have been meaning to leave a review for this location for at least two years but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were having a bad day. Maybe they were understaffed. I've come to the conclusion that this restaurant is poorly managed. I have witnessed managers arguing with employees right at the counter where you place your order.
The overall staff is unprofessional and generally speaking, not very friendly. It's rare that they get your order right and the mistakes that are made could be avoided if they paid attention. Some of the mistakes make ZERO sense. For instance, I ordered a hamburger happy meal once and there was a fish sandwich instead of a hamburger. That makes NO sense because that's not a happy meal option.
On a separate trip, I ordered two happy meals. I ordered both with nuggets BUT on one meal i asked for two yogurts and no fries. On the second, fries and yogurt. I was handed one Happy Meal in a box and the other in a regular bag and the excuse that I was given was "We only had one box left" yet when I went into the store to speak to the manager, there were other happy meal boxes in the staging area.
As I explained to the manager, I have two young children with me. How is one child going to feel when I hand him a bag and his friend gets the box? To make matters worse, upon further inspection, there was no yogurt in either meal because they were allegedly out HOWEVER, had I not inspected prior to driving off, I wouldn't have ever known because the staff didnt extend the courtesy of telling me when they handed me my order.
This location is consistently providing poor service. You would think that from the location of where it is, you would receive better service but in my opinion, this location is one of the worst in the entire metro Atlanta area. The only location that trumps this one in poor service would be the one in Sandy Springs off of Roswell Road. I was in that location last year znd witnessed two female employees cursing out the manager right at the counter. They were using profanity and eventually took the disagreement out to the parking lot.
If you want to experience great service, visit the location in Duluth on Peachtree Industrial in the Kroger shopping plaza.

Read moreSunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at 6:30 pm. Just got home from a drive thru order. First of all, I was the only car in the drive thru. I sat at the window for almost 5 minutes before I was asked for my order. They did apologize for the wait. Not too concerned, things happen. After placing my order, I pulled around to see one car sitting at the pick-up window. So, they too had been waiting for at least 5 minutes. After I did pull up the girl started handing me the wrong drinks (I was still the only car in line). I told her that was not my order, and she asked me to repeat my order. I did and she went away. She returned with the 2 milks I had ordered with happy meals. She left and a guy comes to the window and asked me what I ordered. I repeated the order again, he left and brought one of the 2 happy meals and a bag with the correct burgers but no fries. I said that I ordered meals. He asked me again what my order was. At this point I'm getting a little perturbed. I repeated the order for the third time. The girl returned with the rest of the order except the 2nd Happy Meal. At that point I just told them to bring be a cheeseburger Happy Meals. When I got home (less than a 3-minute drive) I was appalled at the food. The buns on the quarter pounder and big mac were so stall and hard that no one could eat them. The bun on the cheeseburger happy meal was just burnt black. Not a dark toast - black. The happy meals also did not include the sliced apples. Now, I have been going to McDonald's for the past 60 years. I used to work at a McDonalds in Marietta, GA. This was the worst excuse for a McDonalds I have ever seen. The workers are just stupid, and the quality of the food shows it. Avoid this location at all costs. This restaurant...
