The whole place feels like it lacks structure, the waitresses and waiters are so beyond sweet and make my day each time i go in there. Despite looking confused and overwhelmed at any time you go in there, Of course, because they’re working at a breakfast restaurant with everyone demanding service. But I’ve had multiple problems there with people, rushing through plating food and making drinks to where there’s milk all over my drink, or poorly plated. I had to ask for a napkin clean this one drink today, to the same girl that had done this before immediately apologized and looked so overwhelmed looking like she was handling drinks, bar, take out, and food running all at once. she did clean it up for me, but the problem is i feel like they they feel like they’re rushed to do absolutely everything all at once. i worked in food service and yes you are everywhere but everyone would be assigned a specific task. I will see like five people at the greeting stand and then hear people in the kitchen over and over and over again ask someone to grab the same plate of food They’ve been holding. Everything just feels like it lacks structure. When I spoke to the manager about my eggs Benedict, she apologized for the inconvenience, talk to the waitress, offered a high percentage off my NEXT order, but I don’t wanna go and pay more money to get a percentage off. She offered to remake it, but I’d have to go over there. There’s no way for her to refund it. I understand that was out of her hands, but it seems like most of the stuff is out of their hands which is sad because i used to go here as a kid with my family and it wasn’t this all over the place before or even compared to last year. in the picture attached is the eggs Benedict I received, and I brought it home with all of the UPRIGHT. even then it looks like there’s none is barely any hollandaise sauce on it. this is the small juice ( i already drank) that’s...
Read morePros: -Quality food with fresh ingrediants. -Amazing service and friendly staff. -Really close to my location. -Outdoor seating. -Very large menu selection. Lots of variety. -Satisfying and filling portions.
Cons: -Wait time. We were quick to be seated, but it took 10 minutes to get our coffee and another 7 to have our order taken. Although, this was during an extreamly busy time when the resturaunt was packed, so thats forgivable. -Price. For a Breakfast/Brunch location, it is a little pricey. $11 for an omlet, small cup of grits, english muffin, and a cup of coffee. but the quality was on par, and they used Gouda cheese in the Omlet and Grits, which were beyond expectations. So the price tag is forgivable. Hours of Operation. They close at 2 PM, which makes it very difficult to make it there before they close.
All in all, a pleasent experiance. Ther server was amazing and one of the friendliest people I have seen. The food was top quality. And the selection was incredible. They even have selections for the vegan and vegetarian folks. This is most definitely a...
Read morehad been going to this Reveille Cafe several times a month for years. The weekly specials gave me a good reason to visit.
Last week went there, ordered what I order about 1/3 of the time. Food was fine. Then I got the bill, almost twice what I normally pay for that dish and they did not give the special coffee price for Thursday. I called the server and he went to check, came back and told me there were a couple of "add ons" he had to charge me for. I asked him to speak with the Manager, came back, same story. I asked to speak with the Manager, then he got all snotty with me..... Manager came over, same story (never met this Manager before). I informed I order this all the time, etc. and that the server never mentioned an "add on". Reluctantly the Manager removed the add ons (good thing cause I was not going to pay for them....); but by then the experience fouled my day.
Guess the new policy is to nickel and dime the customers so I will be looking for another breakfast place. I noticed Snooze opened a place just up the street. Will...
