So I did give less than a 5 star review across the board. Not that the service was lacking as they were extremely friendly, however upon walking in the ordering process was a little confusing in which we walked around aimlessly for far too long. Quick breakdown to help anyone that chooses to visit (highly recommend). There is a touch screen at the front where you can place your order, however we were waiting for the gentleman on the phone on the other side of the counter to take our order until he walked away carrying on with making coffee. My wife set down at the table and noticed a scan code for ordering, which we realized was how the process worked. Again not a huge deal, but slightly irritating when the process could have easily been displayed or communicated by the few staff that very friendly said hello.
Now to the good stuff that everyone is here for… the coffee was really good, clean, and fresh tasting. The pistachio gelato is hands down best I’ve had in a very long time, again noting the freshness and flavor profile (when you order it only gives you the option for one or two scoops, they will then come to your table prior to making your order to ask if one or two separate flavors) and I HIGHLY recommend this flavor, will try other flavors next time. The red velvet cake was scrumptious as well. The Tiramisu was good, the strong coffee portions overpowered other flavors, but again noting freshness and still delicious. Our hands down favorite item we got was the Kataifi Baklava. This has truly ranked as my new favorite dessert folks. It does take time to prepare it to order, but grow some patience, drink some coffee and enjoy the literal definition of awesome sauce 😎. The textures and flavors that continually impress you after every single bite is simply not possible to interpret into texts, I highly encourage this to be on your...
Read moreWe recently had my best friend’s private engagement dinner at Rose Valley Sweets, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we walked in, the space felt so warm, cozy, and thoughtfully set up—it was the perfect intimate venue for such a special night. The decor, lighting, and overall vibe were just beautiful, making everything feel so personal and memorable.
What made the night even better were Dylan and Derrick. These two were incredible from start to finish. They were beyond accommodating, constantly checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. They helped with setup, checked on guests, brought out anything we needed without us even asking, and did it all with the kindest smiles. You could genuinely feel how much they cared, not just about doing their job—but about making the evening as perfect as possible for everyone.
They were truly the highlight of the night (besides the couple, of course!). Super professional, so respectful, and just naturally sweet and friendly. Dylan and Derrick really added to the magic of the evening, and I’m so grateful we had them there.
If you’re looking for a charming venue with outstanding service and a genuinely caring team, Rose Valley Sweets is it. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem and the people make it...
Read moreI am frequently in the plaza this establishment is located in, so I recall when it was being constructed. Recently I decided to stop in to see what they had since I noticed it was open now and I love sweets. It’s a cute and quaint place; however, the dessert I ordered to-go, wasn't good. I tried the hazelnut chocolate cake and it was dry and not sweet enough. The mousse and icing helped a little with the texture but the cake itself was very dry, a thumbs down overall. While I appreciate the presentation of the nice box and gold plasticware, the dessert was overpriced. On this day the service was a miss as well. It's a small place and about 9 people (including myself) were standing at the display case (we weren't a group, we were separate customers); no one greeted us or said anything and we all had questions since it was our first time there. I noticed there was a digital screen at the counter stating to order there but the cakes in the display case were not shown or greyed out. I had to ask someone for help to order and the lady acted like I was bothering her. A different young lady pulled the cake for me and she was nice, but not the first woman I encountered. All-in-all, it was a lackluster experience so I likely...
