Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza — Restaurant in Johnson City

I have been coming here for 5 years love the food and the customer service has always been amazing. You guys always hired people who put the customer first. But a couple times my girl friend came and cried last week because the to go guy Jay was really rude to her. And humiliated her. I came in today ordered a large pizza with a salad with oil and vinegar. I asked for an extra oil and vinegar which is only 25 cents which I didn't happen to have there and humiliated me and made me feel like I couldn't afford it. And interrogated me over my order.The right thing to do would to be nice about it. He told me I couldn't afford anything and nothing comes for free. I can't believe how humiliated I was I love the pizza and the people there. But Jay has no customer service and should not be in the restaurant business unless he becomes more polite. I was nice and gave him a nice tip. I just hope I don't have this experience again!!! Was humiated. Hope me or my girlfriend do not have this experience again!!! Definitely won't be coming back here. Idk why this is like the new standard for food, but everything everywhere is bad. No exception here. I liked this place last time I went. This time, not so much. The wings tasted like old chicken that probably should have been tossed. I mean prior to cooking. And for $12 prior to tax for 8 wings you shouldn't have to question whether or not they are actually still good. The pizza sauce. Idk who did it, but I swear, if you dumped a can of crushed unpeeled tomatos on raw dough, then threw some cheese on it and put it in the oven, that's what I got. There was virtually no sauce, just gigantic chunks of tomatoes and pieces of I guess tomato skin surrounded by soggy bread like, drop a hotdog bun in a pool soggy. And by large chunks I mean too big for even something like lasagna.

So my choice is either pull off the huge unappealing chunks and have soggy weird pizza or eat it like a bread tomato cheese salad.

Myself and several friends came in for lunch. I am giving Johnny Brusco's a three only for the food. The service is deserving of a 1. When I arrived the sign said seat yourself. We promptly put tables together to get enough seats for our group. Part of our group sat down. Once sat nobody greeted us. I asked a waitress after several minutes if she had our section she said no he did. The waiter had walked by us several times and never greeted us. He looked like he didn't want to be there. If we hadn't told everyone to meet there we would have left. He came a took our order and delivered food. The food was cooked to perfection. The drink refills were slow if at all.
