T.J. Maxx — Local services in Johnson City

I went here tonight after Christmas to exchange a gift . I shopped the clearance items for good deals as I always have at any store. The problem was I got some perfume that had a $4.00 red clearance sticker on it and when I was paying for it the cashier was peeling the sticker back and looking at and then showed it to another cashier and they just decided that the red sticker was wrong and told me its not this price that’s too cheap for this perfume ! I said well the sticker was on it ? Aren’t you supposed to give it to me for that price sense it’s marked with red sticker for that price? Supervisor said no we don’t have that policy? I mean it’s not my fault they marked it wrong! Plus it made me feel like they were acting as if I put the sticker on there because they questioned it right there while I’m paying for it and that’s so unprofessional for a store to make a customer feel that way. I didn’t want to buy anything from this store after being treated this way if I didn’t have to use the gift card I got I wouldn’t even shop at Tj max anymore. and in case you read this review I never put the price on it you did and you should’ve stood behind what you did not my fault was it ! No excuse treating a customer like that making them think you thought...

This place is great but they really need to check who they are hiring. I have encountered a couple of pretty hateful employees, then today I took a return back, shorts, never worn, tags still attached, I then tell the cashier that it is a return, after some time he tells me to take the shorts out of the plastic bag, as If I’m there to do his job. I don’t know, maybe next time I should bring the return in my bare hands not to bother him, then he proceeds to tell me there is a trash can or whatever outside if I want to throw the plastic bag in it. Hahahahhahaha! What a joke! The guy is working at tj maxx and don’t want to handle a return. First time such thing has happened to me in this place or anywhere. They have always get the tj maxx plastic bag, taken the return out of it, scanned the product and thrown the plastic bag in the trash behind them, which is there exactly for this reason. I’m sure it wasn’t because of COVID as he wasn’t wearing a mask or anything, just some pompous clueless retail store employee who thinks he’s too good for the job. I just regret not telling him I wasn’t there for that and that if he didn’t want to handle returns I was gonna move to next...

I shop here a lot. They always have new inventory. The handbags are to die for.. what a great selection and prices are reasonable. It's really nice when you can get in on the clearance sales . The jewelry section always has new items that sparkle and catch my eye. I go about 3 times a week just to see what's been marked down. The makeup bags are very nice especially when they're on clearance. The shoe department is good . I can always find something there at a good price and very fashionable. The sandals with heels are pretty and I love the Puma tennis shoes. The womens section of clothing is very up to date and something for everyone.. every size. And the dresses omg Let me rephrase the Calvin Klein dresses is what keeps me coming back . It's not everyday or anywhere you can get one of these $200. Dresses on clearance for $20 or $30 dollars. And you'll be happy you got it when you put it on . I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Staff is very nice friendly and professional. Love love...
