My fiance and I visited the store on Black Friday to purchase an engagement ring. My ring needed to be sized and was sent off for 3 1/2 weeks, which was completely normal. Received the ring back and it was sized correctly from a 7 to a 7 1/2 which was great. One week after wearing my NEW engagment ring, the color had came off only one side of the ring, revealing the gold underneath and the white gold on the other side. Took the ring back up there and was told this was completely normal for a ring to lose it's color after one week, which is not true as i've had a white gold ring before and the fact that the color only came off one half of the ring was a huge red flag. Joe sent the ring off and after almost 3 weeks the ring came back. Upon inspection the ring had not even been fixed or redipped. The ring was exactly how it was when it was sent off. Joe advised he would call the manufacture of the company that produces the rings and request a brand new ring directly from them in the size 7 1/2 that i needed. Approximately 3 weeks later my "new" ring was in. Joe lubed my finger up with so much oil, that it was dripping from my hand. At that time I didn't think anything of it, but that night as i tried to take the ring off, i realized it didn't want to come off. I thought maybe my fingers were swollen and it is what it is. I lived with it and dealt with the fact that my ring that once fit, no longer fit. After weeks of dealing with an extremely tight ring, I decided to visis the store in Kingsport instead. Upon inspection, the very sweet sales associate there noticed that my diamonds were loose and about to fall out along with the fact that my ring was not a 7 1/2 as Joe said but instead a size 7! Which was why it was so tight. I will never ever visit the store in Johnson City ever again. I will only use and TRUST the Kingsport store for any future needs, as I now for the 4th do not have my engagement ring because it is being sent off to be correctly sized and repaired. I still may seek further legal issues regarding this matter at this point as I have all my paperwork for everything this company has put my fiance and myself through. What was supposed to be a magical upforgettable moment has been turned into a nightmare from the...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked it we had issues. The man didn't want to size us, said the fingers would swell in the summer and so we don't want to change the size. My fault for never looking until after we got to the car. So we had to go back in and he didn't want to size my fiance. Eventually he did and told us the ring would be in within 2.5 weeks.
The next day I looked and my bank account had been charged twice for the wedding band. I called and they said they would fix it. 4 days later nothing changed and I called again and they said I was never charged twice . Funny how when I talked to headquarters they fixed it immediately.
3 weeks later never got a call to pick up the ring. I called and the nice lady couldn't find our names in the system but luckily I had the emailed receipt and was able to give her the receipt number. She told me she would talk l to the guy that sold it to me and call back.
When he called me back he told me the system was down that night and that's why it never got ordered... I told him it took my money well enough and that if it was down he should have ordered it the next day. So he looked to see if he could get the ring in and the best he could do was a half size too big, then he told me again about the weather and how the ring might not fit now but would later and that it would be in within 2 days. Because of the weekend Monday at the latest.
Monday came and I never got a call, I assume he never ordered it but regardless I returned it and got my refund 10 mins before they closed. I would NEVER ever shop here again. It was a horrible experience.

Read moreThe actual process of choosing a ring from the counter and checking out was easy. We were informed the rings were 30% off when trying them on, but at checkout, the ring ended up being close to the price on the tag. Not a big deal, I just assumed maybe it wasn’t part of the sale and it was the ring I wanted. I should have asked at the time, so that’s my bad, but I’m just not usually a confrontational person. I go home and check the receipt and see I was charged a warranty that negated the 30% sale price, and I could have gotten the ring on sale after all. In the end, I’m okay having the warranty, but I wish a little more communication had happened before it was added to my transaction and what the warranty actually entailed before involuntarily committing to it. I had to look up online what it actually covered— and the sales associate should have been transparent and went over it with me at checkout. She mentioned a “warranty” a few times but I don’t remember her clearly asking if I WANTED it.
Just watch out at checkout to make sure they aren’t being sneaky and adding warranties without asking you first. Selection was nice and she was friendly, but that just left kind of a weird taste...
