Unfortunately, this Starbucks is poorly placed. Right across from the mall, and almost impossible to navigate to if it's on your left as you approach your destination. Traffic sucks on this road, and switching lanes is a joke, so good luck making it there without having to pull a U-Turn. Once you've arrived, be on the lookout for pedestrians because they aren't looking for you. With wait times so long, thus the car lines so long, the drive-thru queue starts immediately after you pull into the lot. Right where dine-in customers will be entering and exiting the building. After waiting what feels like an hour - your own poor decision when you knew you had to be somewhere and you KNEW BETTER about trying to "quickly stop at Starbucks" - you finally reach the voice in the box asking you about your order. And ,no, they usually CAN'T help me today, because they are almost always out of the pastries my stomach desires. Good luck getting vanilla bean scones. They don't de-thaw enough to feed the daily population of caffeine fiends and cake pop lovers, they just *86 that shiz as soon as they sell a quick dozen. You have to wake up freakishly early to obtain those hard-won delicacies you can only seem to dream about. Don't worry, though, you came to a Starbucks for what they're intended for in the first place: a caffeine/sugar high that will get you through the rest of your mediocre day and bring a modicum of joy to your soul.
But alas, all ye who are intolerant or vegan or just like the taste of faux milk. Being different means paying an extra fee. And don't spend the extra cash on a Venti if it's more espresso you want. Much like the slightly smaller Grande, they only add two espresso shots. Sticking with my cough MEDIUM size, adding a third shot, and making my iced white chocolate drink of my dreams dairy free, I've finally said "final answer" to my order and the voice in the box is calculating my total.
Turns out I could've gone to McDonald's across the street and ordered and iced coffee beverage and 3 dollar menu items with the price it cost to get me just the bev at the Bucks. You leave feeling less of a Star. And your wallet is so light it floats away on a breeze whispering "you didn't need me anyway, you just spent so much money on a singular, ridiculously-named ground-bean drink that you over-drafted your bank account."
You wave your wallet(and hopes and dreams) goodbye as you contemplate how you'll pay this months rent. You sip from your overly priced plastic chalice and ponder. After two sips, you hear that nails-on-the-chalkboard, clench-inducing sound of the last dregs of liquid being pulled from your straw. Turns out they added so much ice to your iced drink that you'd be lucky to have consumed two ounces. heartbroken and penniless, you struggle through the N. Roan Street traffic once more on your way home. Your gas light blinks on as your eyes blink shut, opening again to release one, lonesome tear.
You would've been better off buying a Keurig.

Read moreI have been going to Starbucks all over the country for 30 years almost daily and never have I had such horrible experience as I had at this place. And if you look back at my other reviews, I am honest and hardly ever have had to give a one star review. I stopped by this past Wednesday around 11 am and drove through and ordered two ice grande triple espresso with extra ice and a splash a heavy cream and a bacon, egg and Gouda sandwich . I was given a tall cup with no extra iced, and it had some kind of weird white stuff on the bottom. I’m thinking, perhaps they started to put white chocolate in the cup and then realized it was wrong and made my drink in it anyway, I’m not really sure . the gentleman that was working the drive through window was all over the place and seem to be having a hard time even after handing me my first drink he was like OK bye and I was like oh I’m sorry I have more stuff coming . They were not busy at this time as only 2 cars were in front of me . To be brutally honest, he seemed to be high on something . He was all over the place and seemed agitated. But with all that being said, I still gave a three dollar tip in cash which I seen him turn around and put it in his front pocket. And like I’ve said, I have been to many Starbucks over 30 years and they always have a tip jar usually sitting on the lip of the drive-through window. I don’t want to say that he stole his coworkers tips because obviously I don’t know. Perhaps the tip jar was missing and he was like I’ll just put it in my pocket and add it later, but it was an extremely weird and unfortunate experience and being that my drink had some kind of weird white stuff that was definitely not cream in the bottom because I could not shake it up. I decided not to drink it and just threw it away. Will this keep me from going to Starbucks…. Definitely not but I definitely won’t be returning to this one when...
