Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Joplin

This was my first time eating at Chick-fil-a and I can honestly say I have never had a better Chicken sandwich ever! The chicken was moist and a huge portion the waffle fries were outstanding and the sweet tea was off the hook! The employees were very friendly,respectful and came around to our table several times asking if we needed any refills on our drinks or anything else. It was a very warm and friendly atmosphere very clean and I was absolutely impressed with how fast the service was. I have always believed that you can tell how good a restaurant is by the amount of people that are in the establishment and this place was packed! I was very impressed with how fast and efficient this place was. I am ex military and believe me I know about how things should run when dealing with a large number of troops and this place is like a well oiled machine! Very fast and efficient. Outstanding job Chick- fil-a it was a pleasure eating here at this Chick- fil-a in Joplin, Missouri. If all Chick-fil-a restaurants are like this one then the owner Chick-fil-a has went above and beyond! And the owner of this Chick-fil-a on Rangeline rd in Joplin should be proud of themselves as well as their employees each and every one of them! Liberals put Chick-fil-a down all the time for not being open on Sundays and other reasons as well and I for one am a Christian and believe that Sunday is a day of rest and attend church services to worship our heavenly father and fellowship with my fellow Christians. I have loved this companies food for 30 years, when the only location in Joplin was the local mall. To this day I think they have just about the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten, and they always make it the way I order, with extra pickles. This location has recently remodeled, and the changes are good. The dining room is smaller now, but they have added a turnstyle type approach to ordering which I'm sure is beneficial during peak business, when in the past ordering has been a bit of a free-for-all. I was extremely impressed and pleased to see a more diversified group of employees faces, and every one delivers a top-notch customer experience. For many years I have been a fan of Chick-fil-a's superior approach at training kind, courteous, friendly staff. I can not think of a single time when an employees service was less than stellar. This location does an extremely high volume of business, and the company has refined their drive thru service, in my opinion, to perfection. It is the most efficient fast food service I have ever seen. Even in long lines I have never had to wait more than five minutes, and my order has never been wrong or less than the best quality. I'd never eaten at a Chick-fil-A before as our trips to anywhere there was a Chick-fil-A have always been on Sundays. Given the recent controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy's remarks that he supported marriage as defined by the Bible, I decided to make the trip as my way of supporting Chick-fil-A's right to operate a business as long as they operate within the law and my right to eat at whatever establishment I see fit.

First of all, I thought I had picked a bad time to get there. I arrived shortly after noon and the parking lot was packed and both of the drive-thru lanes were almost out to the street. I considered waiting but I decided to give it a shot and I went in anyway.

Once I was inside, despite the place being absolutely packed, I was waited on almost as soon as I walked in the door. The girl took my order, I paid for it, and she asked me for my first name for the order, which I gave to her. This was pointless as my food was there almost as soon as I gave her my name.

The Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich that I ordered was excellent and the Cottage Fries that I got were salted just right.

The place was exceptionally clean, the workers were very pleasant and my first trip to a Chick-fil-A was absolutely outstanding and worth the 80 mile drive one-way.
