We arrived at 8:55pm. Our order was taken 20 minutes later. Our waitress got one order wrong, and one person on my ticket had to wait til everyone else was nearly done before her pancakes finally came out. My youngest son's onion rings were cold. My hot wings were cold. I asked for a to-go box, and put the onion rings and wings in it so I could take them home to heat them up, as they were inedible. I asked for my ticket. I paid for 4 of the 11 people at our table. The waitress took a long time. By the time I paid attention to the clock on my cellphone, she had been gone 10 mins with my credit card. She finally came over and asked if I had cash because "the credit card machine was down" I didn't have cash, and informed her that my son had an early morning football game, so we couldn't wait much longer. She left and came back 5 mins later saying her "boss said to give her two minutes". 15 minutes later, I left the table and found the waitress, the supervisor (Tonda), another waitress and a man standing around the computer. At this point, they'd had my credit card for over 30 minutes trying to run it. The manager said she was going to write my credit card number down and run it later. I informed her that I was not at all ok with her writing my credit card number down on paper for who knows what to happen to it after I left. I said no. The machine finally began working. This was a horrible...
Read moreWe went at 10 pm on a Thursday. There were from what I saw 3 or 4 employees there. We waited at the hostess station for at least 10 minutes before we were seated. When we were seated we were given only 1 menu for 2 people. Then we waited 15 minutes for the same hostess/waitress to come take our drink order and food order. This poor girl was covering every table that was seated in some way or another. I have no idea what the other employees were doing. When we finally got our food after almost a 45 minutes wait, not only did we have to request condiments but silverware as well. The food looked beautiful but was luke warm by the time we actually got our silverware so we could actually eat. The ceiling had what appeared to be some kind of mold growing around the AC vents. And on top of all that, we didn't get the bill at our table,we had to walk up to the hostess stand and wait an additional 10 minutes just to pay our bill. There were people waiting at the hostess stand and finally they got tired of waiting as well and literally went into the kitchen to get someone to ring up our bill and get them their food. Probably the worst service I have ever had at IHOP with the exception of the one waitress doing multiple jobs and running to every table, even the ones that weren't hers. If I could give less than one star I would. We won't...
Read moreI came here Christmas morning due to working in town and not being able to go home for Christmas. This whole experience felt so rushed like the goal of the restaurant was to get people in and out. I didn't know what I wanted to order since the omelette I planned on ordering has pancake batter in it?! I had no interest in eating that. The waitress said so it could keep the large omelette from falling apart. LOL ok! Makes no sense. Ive made plenty of large omelettes and have never had to add pancake batter to it. The waitress kept coming back to take my order and I wasn't ready. She actually looked frustrated but really that whole time was maybe less than 10 minutes. I felt like i had to hurry up and pick something out. If I didn't order orange juice I would have went somewhere else. I finally ordered and about halfway through my food the waitress brought my check to me. I hadn't asked for it yet. I was only in the restaurant maybe 45 mins total? I wasn't planning on staying here for hours but it doesn't do well to make people feel like they have to hurry up and order then rush to eat and pay. Maybe because I was dining solo and wasnt bringing in a full check for a table full of people? Not a fan. Food was average anyway. Maybe they slow down on other days of the year but I would not come here...
