I hardly ever really leave reviews, I love nearly every place I go. But this one was by far the worst. I walk In with my family, they immediately didn’t even move to welcome us in, they just said sit anywhere. They were all talking in the back too busy to be more welcoming. Which honestly, working in a fast pace food service job, it goes a LONG way to the customers. Going to the food part, our server was very nice. I don’t recall her name but she did great! She was patient and attentive given our toddler. We ordered a margarita “specialty” pizza, and it was SMOTHERED in cheese and just had nothing but that. It was still edible, just not great. Then came our appetizer which was garlic rolls. I LOVE garlic but after that night, I haven’t seen it the same since. I ate it and immediately it was this funny tasting roll with I swear, only minced garlic. Once again, smothered in oil. It was great at first, then it left a BADDD taste. Sour ish. I went home that night throwing up from the garlic rolls. I was nauseous just after I ate there. It was my first time trying this place and I was so so so disappointed. I hope someone has better luck eating here than me...
Read moreFirst time trying pizza and wings with all the 5 stars reviews! I expected a lot but first off the bill $ 26.64 for a small pepperoni pizza and order of hot wings! I was shorted a wing got only 9 and didn’t realize about MK price of wings which is not mentioned online menu when ordering 😡 when it’s priced at $10. The wings are big and they give you a big portion of blue cheese and plenty of celery. The pizza was okay sauce is sweeter than I expected I’ve lived in NY and the cheese and sauce is not NY style pizza it was greasy from the pepperoni they use. The staff seems nice and helpful and I would like to try the wings again. I did have to put wings in oven the get them crisp up. The wings and pie was very hot at pick up and making the wings get soft but I’m very picky about wings. The flavor is very good and dressing was thick with cheese crumbles. Only one place that has a authentic nyc pizza is Joseph’s Italian market. I would definitely come back to try other items on menu calzone or...
Read moreI recently visited Gardens Pizza & Pasta in Abacoa and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
I ordered a Pepperoni pizza and to my disappointment, it was greasy and undercooked.
The crust lacked that perfect crispness that I usually look for in a pizza.
I also ordered mozzarella sticks, expecting them to be oozy and cheesy, but it lacked mozzarella.
It was a letdown considering how crucial mozzarella is to this classic appetizer.
In fairness, I understand that it was a busy Friday evening, and the restaurant might have been dealing with a higher volume of orders.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this may have affected the quality of my meal.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, which added to the overall experience.
Note: This review is based on my personal experience and taste preferences. Other patrons may have had different...
