Yesterday was my first time visiting. On the doors, they had a poster advertising a BOGO free deal for boba drinks. I asked the cashier how I can redeem the deal, and she said that I had to download the app. The poster contained a QR code to download the app from the Apple App Store, but when I scanned it, the app did not exist. I returned to the cashier and asked if there is another way to redeem the offer, and she told me to go to the website and create an account. I navigated around the website looking for a link to do this, and it did not exist either. Finally, after about 10 minutes of being in the store and trying to access this offer, I asked the employee again, and she told me that I needed to pretend that I wanted to place an online order and only then the website would direct me to create an account. What a headache! The employees also told me that this was a common problem with both the app and the website and that it was frustrating to them, as well. I was finally able to create an account with the intent to redeem the BOGO free boba offer, but when rung up at the register, the offer was not available!! I had been in the store for 20 minutes at this point. Thankfully, a manager was able to override and apply the promotion manually, and I was able to purchase 2 boba drinks for the price of one… but when they finally came out, the taste was terrible! Both the passion fruit tea and the mango tea had an awful bitter aftertaste making them undrinkable. We threw both drinks in the trash after 2 sips and wrote the whole experience off as a very disappointing one! Would...
Read moreSo quick background—poke’s my favorite thing, and I’ve tried almost every poke place in Boca and Jupiter. This place is hands-down my favorite (in terms of flavor, freshness, affordability, portions, speed, and service).
I’ve never had a bad bite here, like a piece of fish that wasn’t as fresh as it should’ve, or a piece of fruit that might’ve gotten a little past. The rice is almost always made well and is a great canvas for everything that goes on top! It’s never been mushy or overcooked.
My hands-down favorite thing on the menu is the spicy salmon. The seasoning’s always right and the salmon’s always super buttery. If you like the strong flavor of fish, I also recommend you try the fish chips to add on top! They add a nice savoriness and slight kick of spice.
Their portions are always fantastic. Price-wise, this is also unmatched compared to every other place I’ve gone to. Also, the service is always great! Everyone’s always so nice and fast. :D
My only suggestion for the restaurant, if possible, is to move the boards that say what items you can get on the ‘supply chain’, so you can personally see what items they put on the order and what options they are.
Otherwise, this place is so good! Best poke around. 10’s across the board lol.
(I’m not too much of a boba person, but I’ve also heard great things about their boba from my...
Read moreLOL I was so excited when someone told me we had a Boba Place in Jupiter… I paid to have one delivered at work that day and then it was really good! I was so excited! So I go back on my way home to get some caffeine for my hour drive back home and for tea the next morning (no ice so it doesn’t dilute overnight)! I pick up my drinks and well you can imagine…. The girl at counter said they don’t change the recipe when you get no ice… and I’m like well look at the other one that has ice? No answer I’m like I’ve never had boba this low before and just left. I’m not going to argue with a teenager :/
Some of the nitty gritty from what I could tell they use the powders so if you want black tea get one of the fruited teas, they flavor it with syrup so keep that in mind when picking your sugar level. The boba was at least a day old it was a little starchy in the middle. Which is fine, all in all it’s fine but I’m not going to make the effort to go all the way out to abacoa again. First pic is my second trip, second pic is my delivered tea the difference 🙄...
