MatchaLiscita instantly became one of my favorite spots. The whole place is cozy, romantic, fun, and full of aesthetic pink-and-green details. It's a small space, but super inviting and full of fun charm.

We ordered the Iced Strawberry Matcha, and apparently it's the drink everyone wants, it was the last cup available that day! It was really delicious, though at first, it needed a bit more sweetness. I added syrup from their counter, and it totally enhanced the flavor , so good! It's the kind of drink you can slowly sip and enjoy for an hour. Totally worth the hype.

We also had the Hot Chocolate, and wow... it was phenomenal. Rich, creamy, and exactly what you want in a hot chocolate.

And don't get me started on the Strawberry Chocolate Donut! looked gluten-free and honestly, I'd take it over a regular donut any day. Super tasty!

The seating is cute and clever, the tables adjust up or down depending on your needs, which I loved. That said, the space itself is very small, and it does give off the vibe of "grab your drink and go." It's cozy, but not ideal for long hangs.

One downside: the bathroom could really use more care. I ended up not using it. It could definitely benefit from some cleaning, better scents, and a little aesthetic love and decorations to match the rest of the café.

Still, overall the place is adorable, the vibes are cute, and I'd love to come again to enjoy another Strawberry Matcha and those amazing...

Matchacita is a total Downtown Kalamazoo gem and amazing new addition to The Mall! The location is perfect, with great foot traffic and a cozy spot to people-watch or get work done. The atmosphere inside is modern, welcoming, and full of good energy. You can tell it’s been thoughtfully designed, down to every little detail.

As someone who appreciates plant-based options, I was so impressed with their vegan menu — super fresh, flavorful, and creative. Whether you're grabbing a light bite or a full lunch, there’s something for everyone.

And the drinks? Next level. Their matcha teas are smooth, delicious, creative and perfectly balanced, and their coffee creations are just as impressive — bold, unique, and beautifully made. You can taste the quality in every sip.

Highly recommend Matchacita whether you’re a local or just passing through. It’s easily one of the best spots in Kalamazoo for great food,...

The Iced Strawberry Matcha was good and not too sweet. My favorite, though, was the Iced Vegan Horchata Matcha, it had great flavor! The avocado toast was good, though a bit salty for me personally.

I really appreciate that they offer gluten-free and dairy-free options. I was hoping to try the baked goods and hot waffle, but they weren’t ready yet when I came around 8:20am.
