Wendy's — Restaurant in Kanab

We had been driving all day long and finally reached Kanab (Saturday, 13-July-2024). It had been roughly 12 hours since we had gotten on the road. Nothing in Kanab is open past 9 or 930pm, except Wendy's, McDonald's and Pizza Hut. According to the hours online, the Kanab Wendy's was open until 12am - so we headed there, excited to have a meal for the first time in literally 12+ hours. We arrive and the dining room is closed. The hours online did NOT specify this. We went through the drive through instead. We ordered 3 meals, along with 2 large fries. We waited roughly 10 minutes for our food, then we were shorted 1 French fry. We notified the man working the window. He literally argued with us that he gave us all our fries. I asked why we'd lie about 1 French fry (we just had spent $43, so why lie about a $2 fry), and he continued to argue. He finally said, "whatever, whatever, whatever," angrily got us 1 fry, and then proceeded to stare us down as we pulled away. What an awful experience. This guy should NEVER deal with people, ever again. Furthermore, please update hours online to specify dine in vs. Drive through hours. Been to this Wendy's a few times and it never impresses me. If you're passing through, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. Most recently, I went here and got a biggie bag And had it upgraded to medium with a frosty. They gave me a small frosty and when I asked about it they said they didn't know and ignored me. The fries didn't impress me either. If you want some fresh good fries I recommend Big Al's burgers at the Junction or McDonald's. To add even more to this bad experience my bacon double stack had only one strip of bacon instead of the usual 2. When I bit into the burger the patty was still completely raw! It looked like straight ground beef inside which ruined my experience. If there was one positive, it was that the nuggets were better than most fast foods and they gave me an extra one, but this could be because the employees don't know how to count... I was in today i'm in town on vacation. The woman on the front counter Mae was great, fast friendly and efficient even though they were quite busy when we were in. The tables and floors were all clean and everything was well stocked. Mae was very knowledgeable both about the food and the area, She gave us great customer service. She went above and beyond to make our visit great. I will be back and I will be filling out the customer survey as she suggested. Some of the customers in line in front of us seemed to know her and as i listened to the interactions she remembered their orders and made sure to thank them all for coming in and for the order as well as telling them all to have a nice day. I have never been treated as nicely in a fast food establishment as she treated all the customers she waited on including us.
