What a gem and blessing to the craft beer scene. I looooove Boulevard with all my heart. It’s consistently one of the BEST breweries in the region. In addition to beer, hard seltzers and tea, craft cocktails— their ‘Fling’ selection, which is on point— and non-alcoholic offerings are also available. There are quiet spots and social areas for gathering around the brewery, as well as spaces for private events. I would recommend this spot to novices and enthusiasts alike. The staff here are wonderful, approachable, and the environment is welcoming. The beer hall is a lot of fun; I enjoy it every time I go….. which is often. It never gets boring. There are always fun events and parties going on. It’s exciting and I’m never disappointed. Even on slower days, there are plenty of opportunities for engagement. Grab a beer and take a stroll around the brewery. In terms of art and history, It’s almost like a museum of sorts. Very impressive! The gift shop is always stocked nicely and looks fantastic every time I visit. There’s an awesome assortment of clothing, stickers, accessories, beer (by the case and individually) etc. it’s well kept and looks great. Honestly I could go on, maybe in a review about the tours, but this one is thorough enough. Support local, drink local, love local. BLVD, I love you 🍻

Boulevard Brewing Tours & Rec Center is a great place to visit, whether you're a local resident or a visitor to KC. My brother-in-law was in town from Dubai, and where did he want to go? Boulevard! The rec center is great! It's a spacious, friendly area. It's all designed to be an open feeling, while still having sections that inform guests of the history of the brewery and the science of beer. If you're lucky enough, you'll meet Julia at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and explained to my brother-in-law all about the features of the building. Want a beer? The bar upstairs is great! Want a great bartender? See John! John was great. He helped out with tasting samples of the beers on draft and even offered to get a us a new beer if we got one that we didn't like. THAT is quality service! Want a picture strip with your friends to save your moment? Hope in the Airstream looking trailer and take a strip of four shots! Want to play board games with friends, they have those! Want a party room? Yep! Want some sweet merchandise? Their retail area is excellent and features a lot of locally made products. This is an easy 5-star review. Oh, and, bosses at Boulevard, you should be very proud of how Julia and John treat everyone with respect, kindness, integrity, and knowledge.

I can't say enough about this place! Their hospitality, knowledgeable staff, and AMAZING beer selection. This is a must see. Whether you're in town for a short stent or you live in the KC Metro, you MUST check this place out. Every time I have been there they have had rare beers that aren't on shelves anymore as they have kept them to age. i.e. 2015 Imperial Stout in a bottle (750mL). Their Brewhouse One Series events are held here and are out of this world! These are BREWERY ONLY RELEASES! After taking the tour you'll learn that the brew house one is their oldest section of the brewery in which they still use and brew these one off beers our of. There have been two releases to date of this review. The first beer released was the Requiem for a Pancake and has to be my favorites to date. For the second bottle they threw a private event (by ticket only) for the release of "One Love, Imperial Stout aged in Jamaican Rum Barrels"! It was a great time surrounded by amazing people. I plan to attend each one they host!

We were really excited to check out this brewery, especially because they have a dog-friendly patio, something that’s very important to us as our dog has epilepsy and needs to stay with us at all times. When we arrived, the front desk staff was super friendly and let us know there was a private event happening in the back tap room, but that the patio was still available for us to use. (Which was also confirmed by another manager)

We ordered drinks and headed to the back, only to be immediately approached by the general manager who asked if we were with the private group. We explained we weren’t, were told the patio was open, but she abruptly told us we had to leave. When we asked if we could at least finish the drinks we had just purchased (since we couldn't go inside with our dog), she responded with a very dismissive “I guess,” sighed, and walked away.

There were no signs stating the patio was closed, and we had been told by staff that it was fine to sit there. It was a confusing and frustrating experience that made us feel incredibly unwelcome. Clearly, there’s a major lack of communication between management and staff, and unfortunately, that disconnect left a really sour taste...
