Stay away!!!! We tried tamales pictured below the burrito and the birria tacos. The tacos are the reason for the one star. The only good thing. We tried them on a fluke because Rico Lupe was closed. Over priced and not even close to being good. Tasted very unauthentic. Additionally I believe they over charged me for my drink. I bought two tacos at 225 a piece two tamales at 225 and a drink came up to 1788. When confronted. She reentered my order and stated the drink was 3. So did it again and when she saw it didn't equal what it should walked off and started speaking in Spanish. Came back and said the same drink was now 7 bucks. My thing is you do this everyday how do you not know how much things cost? There's no way it should have cost 7 dollars. Needless to say the food is horrible all of the 1star reviews are true. I also don't know how they got such high reviews. They're probably from family and friends. The steak meat we had was crumbled like ground beef like stated in another review and the portions are extremely small. We didn't get full. Save your money go elsewhere. Rico Lupe or lafonda. Are the better choices. There's a lot of options on swt Blvd and this should not be...
Read moreI am surprised at all of the HIGH STAR ratings. I ordered the chicken mole special. The presentation of it was NOT appealing at all and the taste was WORSE. The chicken tasted old (like it had been reheated several times) mixed with old grease. The refried beans had no flavor at all. After 2 bites I tried to exchange the Mole for something else explaining how it was NOT GOOD. I travel all over the country weekly (airline worker) and have had Several different types of Mole and this was NOT MOLE. It was TERRIBLE. The young girl explained that there was no refunds. They even had a sign hanging that I total missed when ordering. I explained to her (several times) that I had returned the ENTIRE plate because it was inedible. She straight up refused and kept pointing to the "no refund" sign( I have NEVER seen that before) She was very ignorant and kept playing with her bedazzled nails. This was the worst Mexican food I...
Read moreIm pretty sure they are Veryyy known for the birria soup/tacos because everyone had them, But la señorita wanted regular tacos Al pastor so I got the Mexican plate with rice beans and 3 tacos of your kind of meat. The rice was so good the beans if my two year old ate them they were great the tacos were good but I am so use to having my Al pastor en trompo and toast if I make sense I can tell it was just grilled and marinated type. My son chose taquitos de pollo which came on three with lettuce and sour cream and cheese so perfect. My husband chose nachos and tacos de asada yes those were delicious. They have there own little salsa area of a lot of variety pico de gallo, jalapeños, salsa verde and more they rate them to mild to hot and etc. warning!!! The green salsa is not avocado salsa it is tremendous spicy lol yes we made that mistake. The horchata refreshing and hope to come back and try these known...
