Danny's Bar & Grill North — Restaurant in Kansas City

The female bartender "taller blonde" (I don't know her name since she Never introduced herself) unfortunately seemed to care more about her "regulars" then new customers. The only time we were spoken to was when we ordered and when we paid, THAT WAS ALL. Never asked if we were doing ok, or even a welcome in. I brought a few friends in here to try someplace new in the area and wanted to stay alittle outside of main cluster of legends restaurants/bars. This bartender proceeded to run after a guy that left/ran out on a tab and then came back grabbed her keys and own vehicle and proceeded to chase/run after this person that skipped a tab. Leaving all of us and the regulars at the bar just sitting there for almost 15 to 20 minutes. For #1 that's reckless, #2 thats unsafe and #3...YOUR NOT A COP, your a bartender. Great job leaving all your customers sitting there while you go chase after a few bucks from a left tab. I own a brewery/bar in the Kansas City area and I would never condone this type of behavior. Liqour can be be replaced, someone getting hurt or even worse from someone walking out on a tab and running after them is just plane dumb. You for sure lost a customer with your actions on this particular evening, nor will it be recommended to MY customers as a place to go check out....Sorry, it's just the facts You received 2 stars because it was a new place to check out, seemed nice inside and it's not the owners fault their bartender doesn't have common sense to actually stay safe and actually...

Wow, so I've written a review a few other places, tried to handle the situation privately, and nothing. My service was less than pleasant. Sure, it was a game day I understand places get busy... However not the case. Our server, Jenna, sat down and was talking to a guy at another table, just next to us. The women in the booth behind us kept trying to get her attention and finally asked us if we got her name. We told them her name is Jenna then she finally went to the other table. As for the food.... Lukewarm. Ordered and appetizer and our meals. Meals came out first, lukewarm... Brought by another server. When informing this server I had an appetizer he went to check. He brought the food to me and informed me it had just been "sitting back there" it was also lukewarm. I understand people make mistakes, but at least apologize. No apologies. When asked for 2 boxes she brought one. Didn't ask me for a refill but asked the person I was with completely ignoring me. If she was busy and running around not being able to check on us, that'd be different, but she felt it was social hour instead. Perhaps she should find a new career because waitressing clearly isn't for her and it's not for everyone. And to whomever is in charge of responding to reviews should find something else as well. Your lack of response to so many is appalling. Not everyone is looking for something FREE, but an apology is free, doesn't cost...

Can’t hear the tvs… the royals were playing, why wouldn’t at least that game be audible??? Then they continue to skip songs on TouchTunes. It was a Saturday afternoon at a sports bar and sounded more like Sunday brunch at first watch. None of the customers there seemed to be having a good time and it’s not a good look when the manager is gossiping with the waitress about a table. I’d give the service negative stars, but the food was a solid two stars.. the boom boom shrimp was bland but the sauce that came with it was very good. The pigtails were cooked very well, but again were very very bland, but I did not like either of the sauces that it came with. It would be nice if they offered some type of Louisiana hot sauce to go on it. I got the mild wings, but they were not saucy. It was lightly sauced and then completely dried with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were a good size, but I wish that the sauce had been saucy and not just dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy were absolutely delicious and I didn’t need to add any salt or pepper to them.. my son got fish and chips. He loved how the fish and chips were cooked, but the fish seemed seasoned more on the crispy edges than in the middle. Overall, the food wasn’t as bad as the service 10 out of 10 I would not...
