Fresh Donuts no2 — Restaurant in Kansas City

The racks were fully stocked with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff is super friendly, even at 5 am. There is no better donut in Kansas City. The big brands aren't even close. I like their cake donuts better than Lamars. They are moist, and delicious without being so rich you only eat half. If they had a raised donut made with chocolate batter, I would have no desire to have a donut from anywhere else.

My only disappointment is their coffee. It is not bad. It's a mild, plain coffee. I would drink it and not be unhappy, if I was dining in. However, I would not go out of my way to get a cup. Offering a rotating flavor option would be fantastic. There are so many options around, even great local places like The Roasterie, that have great flavored...

Hands down the BEST Donuts & Sausage rolls on the KS side of the line! Jalapeño Sausage roll was perfect amount of sausage to dough, delicious! Wife had a breakfast burrito which she said was as good as any she’s ever had. Then the doughnuts were simply perfect.

This was a just over 20 minute drive for us and we’re done searching. We’ve tried at least 10 different places near us(Lenexa, Olathe, Shawnee and OP) but were never impressed. We will make this drive every time moving forward. !!!

Side note, Service was EXCELLENT!!! Very sweet, patient and informative!

Yessss! Finally found great sausage Rolls after 6 months...

Visited the donut store this morning and I was pleased. Customer service is awesome! I was greeted immediately. This is a plus. However before greetings I noticed the cleanness of the space AND the atmosphere is clean with a hint of baked goods! Purchased 2 strawberry cake donuts this. Couldn't wait to try one once I arrived home. I bit into the pink sprinkled cake donut. OMG! It's fresh and soft. I'm glad I had stopped in, finally, to purchase my favorite style donut.
