Loved this new favourite spot I found when I did a Google search. I drove down to Grinders from my hotel and read a sign in their dining area that said to enter through their East dining area or back patio. I went around through the back and came in to a relaxing atmosphere and it gave me a bar vibe with remarkable food options. I was able to seat myself and ordered the New Yorker pizza all Pepperoni with Jalepeno on half. I got it brought to me and was very pleased with the taste and cheesyness of this pizza. I ended up eating it New York style by folding it and never wanted it to end. My waitress was very nice and friendly and the music they played was awesome. The decor in there was unique in its own sense and I could really see how much fun people could have at such a musically inspired eatery. I'll definitely be going back in the summer and possibly attend one if their concerts they have in the back. I only gave a 4 star in service because I felt like I was kind of a burden to the guy I asked for a refill of my Diet Dr Pepper. He was still kind though when he got it for me. I should of got my waitresses name so I could give her a shout out cause she was good at what she did.Very relaxed chillin atmosphere that's family friendly, awesome for a date or to go solo like I did.

The place was a change from regular restaurants but loved the scene. Very industrial street style with emo rock mixed in. I tried the Baja burger and burger tasted meh, needed more flavor in meat. What was tasty on it was the bacon. It had a sweet and salty taste that made you want to taste more of it but that's all. It needs something else within the burger to compliment it. My wife and daughter shared a Margarita pizza. The delivery was good, it looked good but it lacked tomato sauce. It was very greesy and nothing wrong with that but when you are not drinking alcohol beverages you don't want just that feeling and taste. What really made me love that place was the fries, chips and tots. Best tots that I have ever tasted. The seasoning and crispyness of the outside was amazing and on the inside still soft. I had them add cheddar cheese on top and that threw me over with the deliciousness. Will be back for more of that and to try other burgers and wings. Also tried the fried mushrooms and that was also really good. Let's just say that my daughter loved it and she is not normally a mushroom lover. Service by the was quick and with super smiles. Loved the staff.

Well, this place has its positives and negatives! We'd heard a lot about it from friends and how great the food was! The pizza was a good "NY style" and worth the visit! The drinks were ok, watered down and not stirred! We eventually had a spectacular waitress who explained the "in's and out's" of the procedures to order food and drinks! We had the opportunity to sit in a booth to enjoy our meal! When we first walked in it was nothing less than confusion with the Covid procedures and an apparent rock concert venue later in the evening. We watched a worker talking to a patron for no less than 20 min never acknowledging any customers! Finally, our first took over as bartender and she started moving a bit! Wow! For the most part, the staff was friendly, the facility is an old rundown dump of a warehouse fixed up enough to be a business! Can't forget the women's bathroom has one stall with a line of ladies patiently waiting! The men's bathroom had 2 stalls! We'd go back to try their "Award Winning Long Cheese Philly" on the menu, as featured on tv! Most impressive, and a must to try!

Our family came in tonight to celebrate my brother in-laws birthday. We all arrived at scattered times (which most parties do) so my sister informs us that our waiter greated them by saying, "we cant split checks, it has to be all on 1" and didnt seem interested in helping accommodate with 3 more seats for us. We sat but we could of used a bigger space. .

We put in 2 slices of pizza (since you sell by slice) and appetizers while we wait for our parents and brother, the 2 slices of pizza were for my brother who is autistic. He was ready to eat and we wanted it ready for him. My brother has snacks on snacks, everywhere he goes. My mom had his 2 samdwhich sized ziplock bags on the table; 1 with oreos and 1 with cheez-its. Our waiter whom still needed to get us drinks, or clear out trash from our way says to my mom, "you cant have your snacks out. You'll have to put those away." I am not understanding the logic here. A toddler, child, or disabled child cant have an additional snack with them for when you guys dont make your food right ? Like ours tonight. My sister's inlaws ordered philly CHEESE steaks and when they got them, 3 sandwiches did not get made with cheese. The server man (never was told his name) hands them slices cheese for their philly cheese steaks...... sliced cheese. Basically, since this place cant be a little more kind and compassionate towards peoples needs such as a sandwich bag of oreos for the autistic man sitting in their restaurant (yes the server said he is instructed to tell guest this!!).... I will say i do NOT 10/10 recommend Grinders.

Our server did not even smile,...

On a trip to Kansas City , I picked this spot to grab a bite, and man, was it worth it. I love grimy little hip places like this. Unfortunately, the only thing being served was pizza. While not a bad thing, we had our eyes on other things on the menu. The slices were surprisingly affordable. 4.99 plus .59 per topping. Other places charge like 7 to 8 bucks a slice.

Service here was great. We grabbed a seat, and they had our menus out in a matter of seconds. The bar was kinda busy, and they still kept up with the tables. We decided on 2 pepperoni slices and a slice of pepperoni and banana peppers. This is one of the only slice spots I've been to where they will make you any slice you want. So that's awesome. They made our slices and threw them in the big old school oven.

After about 10 minutes, the slices were sitting on our table, ready to be eaten. The slices were big enough to take up the whole paper plate. They were topped perfectly, perfect amount of sauce, and the crust was super crispy. The only thing I would have changed would be to make the body crust a little bit crispier. Maybe like 4 more minutes in the oven. Other than that, this pizza was slapping.

The music here was great. Old mix of rock, punk, and pop rock (Weezer and such) It took me back to being 20 years old again.

Long story short, stop in here and grab a slice and a drink....
