An awesome addition to the KC coffee scene.

The cortado and americano I had were both delicious, with the espresso well pulled and having a nice balance of sweetness and a touch of acidity. The biscuit was the best I have had in KC, with a rich butter flavor, nice outer crunch and pillowy inside, and a touch of sweetness.

The atmosphere is inviting Americana, and somehow feels farm-like and contemporary at the same time. It is clear there is a lot of care put into it. There is also seating out back, which is great for these warmer days.

Just a fantastic experience all around today at Take Care. I got the bottomless drip for $6 and sat down to work for several hours so it was well worth it. It's cool that they have the light, medium, and dark roast all available for the bottomless drip. I had all 3 and especially loved the dark!

Small tables are one slight gripe I have with many coffee shops, but that wasn't the case here as the tables were spacious enough for my work space.

Vibes & service are incredibly important to me and this shop does great at both.

TC has an identity that is much different than other shops around town. I get tired of modern, sterile, cafeteria style shops.

TC has a warm western / homey ambiance that provides coffee goers with a space to relax and enjoy other people’s presence.
