RE- There's no option to respond for some reason but we were the night of 7/1/2023 and we got there around 11:30 or so I would say
My family and I went here on my 21st birthday to celebrate and heard it was a great place! It was pretty busy so tables were very limited (understandably). So we waited a few minutes and grabbed the first one that was big enough that became available. Not sure if that was what made all the servers upset? Like if we were supposed to wait to be seated but no one spoke to us while we waited and there weren't any signs or anything that said other wise and that's what smaller groups were doing so we followed suit.
We sat down at a table that was dirty and figured someone would come by eventually to take way the empty/dirty dishes (at least 8-9 empty glasses and an empty water pitcher and couple plates). After about 15 mins of not seeing anyone, a couple of people from our party went up to the bar to order drinks. At this point the table was completely full of dishes and it wasn't until I started pre-bussing the table myself did someone, I think a manager, walk up and ask if he could take some dishes, we told him that none of them were ours except for the ones we were holding and asked if we were supposed to have a server. He kind of scoffed and rolled his eyes and said he'll send someone over when someone was available. He took about half of the dishes and no one ever came by our table again. Looking around the room we saw servers going up to tables immediately after people sat down and taking orders and bringing water and other servers standing around the room.
No one ever took an order from us. No one ever brought us water. We never saw a menu.
After about an hour and a half of walking up to the bar each time someone wanted a drink and acquiring a bill upwards 400$ a family member of mine we didn't know was coming came in and we cheered for her. The next time one of us went up to the bar the bartender told us we had been cut off for being too loud.
Majority of our party of 7 was sober the only time we can think that were loud was the time that the family member came by. I'd like to note that this isn't a quite place. The band is extremely loud (but very good) and there were multiple large parties there being just as loud more often.
I feel like we must of done something before hand to make some one upset with our party, but it would have been nice to for someone to speak to us before getting cut off and wasting the night of my 21st birthday not being drunk and getting treated like dirt by strangers for...
Read moreI will not rate food, service or atmosphere because I have not personally been to the Green Lady Lounge. This review is based on the actions made towards former employee, Chelsea Harris. You can go to her Facebook and read her story. In short, I am her sister, we recently went through the traumatic experience of losing our Grandmother and our Father in the same day. My siblings and I went back home to say goodbye to our Grandmother. Who had stage 4 cancer and we knew she didn't have long. Our dad however, was completely unexpected, He passed that morning, roughly 10 hours before our Gamma. The Green Lady lounge knew of the time off for the passing of our Gamma and losing our dad too, she understandably, couldn't help the extra time off that was needed. Anyone with a heart would be empathetic and understanding to the situation. Chelsea even worked 2 shifts after our father's funeral and before our Gammas. Mind you the funerals were in Louisiana and Texas so it was expenses not planned for getting to and from. She kept in contact with them the entire time! But because of the management's poor communication and apparent lack of empathy, they GHOST her and take her off of the schedule!? She has all of the texts to prove all of this and the management team is even still saying "It's a misunderstanding"!? In no way shape or form would I ever want to be apart of a team or support a business that doesnt watch out for its own. I dont understand how this is legal, its probably not, and if my family came from money, we would do more than write reviews, we would fight for justice. Do better Green...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about green lady lounge. The first time my friends and I went, we had a wonderful time! We were able to sit down, the drinks and service were excellent and the live music was lovely. The upstairs and downstairs were open. Unfortunately the next time we went, our experience couldn’t have been more different. We each paid the $10 cover and went inside to discover it was standing room only and downstairs was closed. We stood at the bar for about 10 minutes and were completely ignored by the bartenders. Unfortunately we ended up leaving after those 10 minutes because we were never served and couldn’t find anywhere to even comfortably stand. My friend also has a knee injury and needed to sit down. We wish the bouncer had informed us that it was standing room only - if we had known it we wouldn’t have chosen to go that night given the needs of our group. When I explained this situation to the bouncer, he was very irritated and said no refunds and we left $50 poorer with no drinks or quality time spent there. :( it makes me sad bc I really loved it the first time. Also important to note we did go at different days/times, so we don’t blame them for being busier the second time! I just think we were owed transparency and a refund or even just a simple apology for the bad experience.
I will still go back to green lady, and I’m looking forward to hopefully a better time! It’s a very...
