I called to place an order at this location (because it is close to my work) for delivery. I work at a hotel and recommend Jimmy John's to a lot of people and probably will not again because of the service I received. When I called a guy answered the phone with just a "hello" so I asked if this was Jimmy John's and he said yes with a tone that I was asking a stupid question. I then asked to place a delivery order. He asked if my name was M* and address was 44 L St. I told him no, my name is S* and my address is 4445 L St. Again, he said M* at 44 L* St? I told him again, no and what my name and address were. He asked what I wanted and I let him know I had two orders but they were going to be paid with separate cards. He asked me why the other person couldn't just call and place their own order. I thought I would be saving them time by placing the orders in the same call since they were going to the same place. Apparently, I was not saving time, only putting him out. I told him I decided we did not want to order from them and would go somewhere else (due to the obvious rude and unprofessional way I was treated). His response was okay and to hang up the phone. I normally receive great service from the Jimmy John's by my house and will continue to order from them. I just wanted to let you about my experience at this location. I didn't trust him to make my food if he treated him that way when I was ordering it. I would suggest staying away from this...
Read moreUnfortunate, tragic, and somewhat dangerous. Homeless people have literally taken chairs out of the restaurant and are sitting in front of the restaurant partially blocking the doors while customers try to enter. These folks will be very happy to tell you what they think about you and and what kind of person they think you are based on your appearance. At the same time, they’re busy, screaming and yelling at nearby pedestrians they have arguments with on the nearby sidewalk. They come in and out from the nearby bus Stop to pressure the cashiers for free products. They have no problem going from table to table pressuring customers to do various favors for them. People are literally sitting at the bus bench 20 feet from the restaurant front door using crack (not exaggerating.) I felt bad for one man who was loudly explaining he was starving to death so I bought him a sandwich. As soon as I gave him the sandwich, he wanted to know how much money I had in my pocket and what else I was gonna do for him. This doesn’t seem like a family, friendly...
Read moreThe only person who seemed to even remotely know what he was doing was the manager. There was a young looking man in there who obviously had no idea what was going on because he had no training, and the other man working with him on the line was very obviously untrained and messed up my acquaintance's sandwich several times. The sandwich was still wrong when we left. The manager was just letting them deal with their mistakes and not showing them how to fix them. I called ahead and had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get my sandwich. That's not a lot, but in Jimmy John's time that's eternity. My friend who came in with me and ordered at the register got his sandwich 5 minutes before me. And when I finally did get my sandwich, the older man on the line made it a point to slam my sandwich on the counter and not say anything to me. This Jimmy John's sucks the fattest dick of all time and you would be better suited to go get a sandwich from...
