I like Cherry Fill Donuts and when I found out they do not serve them every day š¢ I decided to wait until today and go get one with some Glaze for my Morning breakfast. The lady behind the counter gave me the cream filled and when I told her while she was still bagging my order that it was the wrong one. She said she gave me the right one, well I know if I am watching where you are pulling from and I see the top tray is full of Cherry Filled I am going to check my bag before leaving the shop. Well like I said she gave me the wrong thing I showed it to the guy who charged me almost $11.00 for 3 glazed and that wrong filled which was their cream filled š¤¢. He gave me the correct filled and said I can keep the other. Well I was also disappointed in the Cherry there was no more then maybe a tablespoon of filling that didn't have any cherries and it was all just a plain donut lesson learned for me. I will never be disloyal to M&M Bakery again when I am really craving a cherry filled I will go to them where the cherries are on top of the donuts and I am not wasting money on a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will never, ever, ever return to this store. The supervisor that was on duty had the most nasty attitude I've ever experienced in my life. I decided to go to a different location because the prices are higher here. When I asked why, she gave a response with attitude. I told her I'm not going to get the donuts and she runs my card anyway and then tries to tell me I can't get my money back. Really? Who tells a customer they can't get a refund when there's "no refund" signs in the establishment? She told me I would have to come back Monday when a manager is there. I wouldn't leave until I got my money back. She took my receipt, didn't give it back and eventually gave me cash. This was a supervisor acting like this. What type of example are you setting for the employees? I now got to worry hoping I don't have transactions on my card that I didn't charge. First impressions are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have loved Lamar's since I was a kid. My grandpa would drive to Kansas City from Lawrence to get Lamar's and I always looked forward to wolfing down a monster maple long John and a chocolate glazed donut and cruellers and old fashioneds on and on the list goes. TO THIS DAY I still love Lamar's and the last two times I went in I was blessed with some absolute gems, all the aforementioned pastries were on my proverbial plate (which was actually just the bag mushed flat in my lap because I couldn't wait to reach my destination [I know, I know I should stop eating donuts and driving, I should know better, my first car accident involved donuts and driving]) and those babies have stood the test of time. I think I may have even received an extra donut or two but hey...
