Lilo's Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Kansas City

Not very impressed. The vibe was cool, the people were nice, but the snow cone was unimpressive. The ice was shaved pretty thick, so it wasn't soft and flaky. As far as the flavor, I had large sections of plain ice with absolutely zero flavor, and what did have flavor, was very muted, as though the flavors were watered down. It was pretty ridiculous that I literally had a spoonful of only ice and no flavor. I've had snow cones in 48 states, and this was the most disappointing yet. I absolutely love this place!!! I used to work at the gas station next door and I would walk over and get some of their delicious shaved ice 2-3× a week. They have a huge variety of flavors and some of their shaved ice includes ice cream, some with maple syrup, etc. You definitely get your money's worth, if not more.
